I've only played through once so far and just did what makes sense when it comes to upgrading the ship and choosing who does what at the end, so didn't know that there were death scenes like this.

I just watched those two death compilations. After a bit they start to get funny ... seeing the same scene over and over again.

Legion! Garrus! Miranda! Tali! Samara! Thane!

Or maybe I'm just a horrible person. =x

They're all pretty gut-wrenching, hearing Ken describe how he hears Gabby's screams, then as they get weaker sucked too. After the suicide mission that is if you waited too long to go

I thought they were funny quite quickly. I guess either there's nothing to it, or we're both horrible people.

I have a playthrough where three die (Tali, Mordin and Jack), but that will be redone for import into ME3. I hate it. It feels like Shepard has failed his crew if even one doesn't survive. Yes, these scenes are sad. In fact, I can't even stomach them.

Yeah, I lost Samara and Legion, so I'm replaying, too.  I thought at the time that it was a scripted thing, like on Virmire, and there was no choice.  Then I found out I could keep everyone, so no way am I settling for less than 100% of squad members surviving.  (Although, I am gonna lose some crew members because I did a whole lot of stuff after the IFF was installed, but hey...at least I won't lose the main 12.  And I'll replay sometime from the start and do it right.)

Depending on who lives or dies during that mission means they will or not return in ME3. If they all survive they all come back. This is what Bioware was planning to do. And its a fact actually, Game Informer has an article about it.

If Thane, Legion (and maybe Kasumi) die before attacking the ship, Tali can get impaled.

I'm not exactly sure if it was new news or not. But this is what Bioware meant when your "choices have dire consequences" in ME3. More teamates killed means less content the player will see in ME3.

I need to look for this issue myself.
