It would have been a lot worse though if any of the squadmates were getting liquified.[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/crying.png[/smilie]

Now, that would really have gotten to me. I can't even stomach the poor colonist woman there, and she has 30 seconds of screentime! :?

that is another good point, you have to have someone pull you up. BUT, the flaw to this is you also have to have some other person survive, doesn't matter who.  If only you and one other survive, they fall to death with you! YAY

Someone explain to me how Grunt, the "perfect Krogan" can't lift up one measly little human on his own.

Well actually if you watch the last scene, only one person lifts you (if i recall correctly), but because BioWare doesn't like you having only one teammate they make it so if only one other survives, they kill them randomly

It is? I guess I must be that good/bad (how you look at it). Also, no.....I didn't try, it was supposed to be my main character but I don't only want Shepard in ME3

shouldn't you have died then? the game makes you have 2 people survive or you die. (yes, i actually tried to only have me and Tali, it doesn't work)

Nope, it was just me, and unless I died during the credits it's still just me <_<

did anyone survive holding the line?

Garrus and Miranda but then they got crushed just before the ship pulled up

Who pulled you up?

I didn't see myself fall, I guessed I must of missed it

Nobody died on my first playthrough. At least with an imported character (i.e. renegade/paragon bonus so no problem keeping everyone loyal), I really don't understand how it's difficult. I've since done two playthroughs were people died, and honestly, I liked those endings better. It's just more dramatic that way.

The only deaths that really bothered me were Garrus' "snipe one for me" speech and Legion's "critical error" after being carried away by the seeker swarms.

There should be an achievement for getting everyone killed.

Worst Leader Ever
Nobody survives the suicide mission.

it would make a great secret achievement.

I recorded a "True Suicide" Mission playthrough and put it on YouTube, instead of the actual ending. Why? I feel much more emotion in the ending when characters die, and therefore it makes (to me) a better ending.

I also think that the death of my own Shepard is even more emotional given she went gallivanting off as soon as possible to eliminate the Collector threat, saves the Normandy crew in the process, but ends up dying with her team for her impetuous but ill-led heroism.

Maybe I'm too morbid.
