I just finished all of the Main Quests and I'm about to start Landsmeet.  I went to Bodahn at party camp only to see that he no longer has any items?  I sold everything I had to him, in case I ever wanted it back.  What's the deal?  Has this happened to anyone else?

Never seen that before, but I'd be very careful about selling all your stuff to one merchant, that's how you get the save corruption bug. I believe it's 548 items that will do it, same with the chest at Warden's peak.

your lucky all his items are gone rather than all your saves being corrupt.

I definitely think it's a variation of the corrupt saves bug. You'll see people from time to time report that the chest at Warden's Keep magically "ate" all their items and they've disappeared. It's probably the game's way of attempting to compensate for going over the item limit.

As Hed mentioned, you are quite lucky the game did a dump instead of corrupting your saves. That would have been the other option...

It's starting to come together now, b/c the save I did right after selling all my items was corrupted. I figured it was a random fluke or something. The subsequent saves after that all worked fine though. I guess what I'll do is go back to a prior save and sell my stuff elsewhere. Hopefully that works.

spread your selling between merchants, don't sell to any one merchant in particular, it seems they can all be overloaded and cause the problem.
