And seriously, ME 2 rushed out? Of all the Bioware games I've played since MDK 2 and Jade Empire it was the most polished game with the most unique content.
Really? I had more issues with this game then any other BW game. I can't remember howmany time I had to restart a game because I ahd run into the corner of something and was now stuck floating above the ground and couldn't get back down to move on.

I'd like to see the new Councils that resulted from Mass Effect's Renegade and Neutral endings.
Gameplay:
More chances to earn Morality Points or have the Morality Point requirements for an Intimidate/Charm option be static like in the first game.

Side Quests. Made them less sukier.
and bring back ME sidequest tjhat sucked more? No thank you, I rather have unique side quest.
Ah yes you are soooo right. It's so much more unique to go in guns blazing shoot a few things plug a battery into a robots bum then push a button and leave with no dialogue at all. I sure am glad they did that! Thank god they got rid of missions like Major Kyle, the crazy Exo-Geni scientists, the creepy lost freighter, Tombs plus all those others. Just to save us the generic environments and driving the MAKO....oh wait they could have kept that kind of mission without the generic environments.....hmmmm
There was only three bad side quest in ME2 compared to what? All of the side quest in ME that where bad? ME2 has so much dialog it's not even funny and it cost money, or did you think a game is free to make? The mech virus side quest (that has threem issions connected) was way better the any of the side quest in ME, or did you not read any of the datapads and just blasted through the levels? Also could they? Seeing as they got rid of the MAKO it shows they could not do it. I take quality over quanity anyday.

Really? Don't you think they would have if they could have?
but what was stopping them?
Thats why they aren't there?
I think you missed my point.
If the first game had more "Story" to the side missions, and the second game is supposed to be an improvement:
Then what was stopping them from making the side missions more interesting story wise?
ME 2 already has more dialogue. It is unecessary to add additional costs onto the game development by using Voice Actors when you can supplement costs by adding more gameplay which allows the game some flexibility.
When this was coming out and the developers were telling their lies to the press they said the sidequests would be worth doing. They'll totally relate back to the main quest, you'll want to do them. Well I did my first time round, what a big fat waste of effing time that was. Button pushing and Beacon flash back is not story related. They were short on time, not talent and vocal cords or costs. It makes the main game very short now...just save them so Legion will talk to you.
I think BW considers the loyalty missions as optional sidequests, which they technically are, but most players see them as being a mandatory part of the story since ME2 is so heavily focused on the characters instead of the Reaper threat.

Then you have a bad game. I missed count on how many times the FPS stured in ME, not to mention texture pop-ins that killed it for me. Also DAO has so many bugs, for both PC and consoles it's no funny, while PC users don't realy suffer because mods, consoles do and they don't even patch there games. ME2 was not rushed at all, there is only a few bugs.

I never saw them as side quests, they don't pop up in that part of your journal.
A side quest is something you don't need to do, you can skip some loyal missions or not even do them all. Also some of the side missions like th Blue-suns connect to alot of the side stories in the series.

i would consider a side quest, is a quest/mission that is not a part of the story. meaning, having done them or not, has no impact on the main story or its outcome.

A side quest does not need to be done, regardless if it's connected to the main story or not. There is alot of side quest in DAO that coonect to the main story there is alot during the Landsmeet quest) yet you don't need to do them and they can bite you in the ass. Same as ME2. You don't need to do them, but the less you do, the more deaths that will happen and the more risk you will have of you dieing.

Thats only part of the main story. You can still defeat the Collectors with out them loyal. You just need two people loyal to survive.
Same as in DAO. I won't post any spoilers, if you want to know, pm me.

- Have ALL of the squad dossiers available at once, with Horizon and the Collector ship triggering after having recruited a certain amount of squadmates.
- Give Legion his own recruitment mission.
- Recruitable ME1 squadmates.
- More squad dialogue on the Normandy.
- Sidequests related to the main story.
- Being able to visit everywhere that we could in Me1, and see how it had changed. I mean come on, we even had to go to a different part of the freakin' Citadel.
- Being able to drive the Kodiak. Seriously, guiding it down to the mission straight from the Normandy would be awesome, and if you miss the designated landing area, you have to fight more enemies to get there.
- Being able to control the secondary teams during the suicide mission.
- ME1's skills system, but keep the power evolving stuff.
- ME1's inventory, but instead of having armour that looks the same, but just has different colour schemes (like in ME1), you should have many different builds of armour, and you should still be able to control the aesthetics of the armour like you could in ME2(material, colour, etc.)
- Longer story levels. Noveria took me about 2 hours, on a good day. Most ME2 story missions can be done in about half an hour.
Hell, if you look up at Earth on the Luna mission, you'll see that it's a mirror image. That's right; someone at Bioware made Earth face the wrong way.

hmm, yes,no, no, yes, yes, maybe gameplay, sure, maybe, no, perhaps on the ship but not in the mnu screen, no would be a yes if it was more like Feros but please nothing like Noveria, plust Peak 15 did not take that long once you actually got there. It would be like comparing Illuim + Thane's recruitment mission to Noveria + Peak 15ResidentNoob wrote...

Gameplay : Improve combat even further. More Biotic and Tech powers, drop the heat sinks, because there is always enough ammo around so it doesn't matter anyway.
Finally. I want to see NPC's walk around in general gameplay, instead of the static talking posts throughout the whole universe. Like patrols wandering around Omega, traders heading between stations on Illium etc. More fourth wall stuff.
With Mass Effect 1 I was in the game, totally engrossed. In Mass Effect 2, I felt like I was playing a game on a computer, still prefer the sequel, but wasn't in it as much. Does that sound weird?

Story : Fix story mistakes, such as how the Normandy can't enter atmosphere, then it lands on Illium. Also why everyone needs to dissapear from the Normandy, then return for no reason at the you know what part of the game. You know, those little inconsistencies that don't really affect the game, but don't make sense and put a few more bricks back into the fourth wall.

Bioware got lazy and thought that people would have had side missions still to do. It is not wierd if you go to a side mission and it happens.
