EDIT: Not sure why Mhairi is on the poll, I know she technically can be considered a companion because she had an approval bar, was hyped as one and such. But she hardly got much airtime before she was killed off, so comparing her to all the other companions is a little bit unfair considering how much more time you spend with them. The same can somewhat be said about Loghain but he was there for a large part of the game, and even if he wasn't a companion he was still in the story.

EDIT 2: You know, with all the commotion about Dog not being in Awakening before it was released, nobody has even voted for him yet, lol.

Loghain all the way, he was the only character that was really complex enough for me to be more than indifferent about. Shale would get my vote for comedy relief though, "Death to Chickens!" as you rush a high dragon is pure gold. Might replace SPOON! as my favorite battle cry ever.

I gave it some thought and decided to select Shale.  Apparently I'm alone in this.

Not in my current playthrough yet, and she won't be in this dwarf's "core group", but I just like her.

Anders is probably a close second, oddly enough.

I voted for Leliana because she's my pc's love interest and I usually have her along for her lockpicking skills, plus I like her personality when she's not going on about her religious views.

Sten, Zevran, and Alistair are bros. I like Jowan allot but BW cut him early. wtf bioware? I liked everyone in DA;O though except Wynne wasn't a huge fan of her.
