The DLC link from the ME2 website takes you to a page to buy points. That page doesn't offer you any option to buy just $7 worth of points.

If I wander over to the DAO site and click a link to buy DLC there, it does bring me to a page that lets me buy just $7 worth of points.

I can only hope this snafu is unintentional and that you're not so desperate for money that you'd to try to trick  people into thinking they have to buy worthless, unusable or unwanted points.

But who am I kidding...
