So I've regretted having Alistair hardenend (since I want the throne with my Human Noble), but I cant figure out how to fix this.
I've tried setting the flag as "FALSE", and using the template from this thread: http://social.biowar...912/1&lang_id=2
But it doesnt work. I've also tried the zz_den_debug, and choosing the "alistair changed" option - but to no avail.
I'm wondering if there is a way to change the flag "back" if you will?
Thanks!

I`m pretty sure that the purpose of the "true/false" part of that script does not set Alistairs Harden flag on off. What I think it does is to check if the warden has "not spoken to Alistair after the event with Goldanna". As I understand, this flag is for the conversation that happens after the warden told Alistair that he should look after himself. When in camp Alistair will confront the warden and tell him that he was right. This is the conversation that decides whether Alistair actually gets hardened or not, If the Warden tells Alistair that "It wasn`t what he ment" Alistair will not be hardened.
What you should try is to run the script as it is, go to the camp, tell Alistair that "this is not what you ment". Now if this will work or not depends on if the game "remember" that Alistair was hardened earlier when you first had the same conversation.
The toolset doesn`t work for me so I have no way to test this, but I wish you good luck and please tell if it works.

Doesnt work, unfortunately - thanks for the idea though.
I think you're right that I need to tamper with an earlier variable. However, I'm not very good at using the editor.

I tried looking for the flags in toolset but im kinda new at that stuff so I didnt find anything important. I have used a mod though that gave you an item that can do it for you however;
http://www.dragonage.../file.php?id=13
"Machiavellian Tome - Romanceable followers only
Sets or unsets Hardened flag."
That should work for you if you are not opposed to installing a mod. I have used it in the same situation and it worked for me. It can also be cleanly uninstalled after you have no use for it also.
Hope it works for you.
