When I go to play the game there's the usual installation process, no big deal. It gets close to the end and then stops. I left it at 100% for an hour or more and nothing. Then I updated the system to the most recent possible (3.21 I think) I tried it again and it stopped, tried yet again and nothing! Right now it's stuck on 97% overall. Has ben for quite some time. Thank god I bought it used so I can return it if it turns out to be a fault of the disc itself. So, what the hell is going on??

Well the most likely options are it's either the game disc or your hard drive. If there are any scratches or scuffs on either side of the disc I would go with that option first.

I've just received this game and tried installing it on my ps3 as well and it get's stuck at around 68%...then it will suddenly jump to 100% after a few minutes of waiting. It will stay frozen at 100% until I decide I've had enough (sometimes hours) and exit the game.



Did you ever find a fix for this?



I'm referring to the original dragon age: origins..nothing special, but yet very irritating.
