Who "wrote a social contract"? I have no idea what you are talking about.

So in Sudan, the Arabs killing and oppressing the sub-saharan africans, the arabs are the "whites". To you, the term "white" is just a general term used for anyone that oppresses or kill someone else for any reason. If there are no races, how can there be a "white race". How is there no races? If there were no races, all humans would be the same; that is not the case.

I am not white. What would you call me?

The social contract you mentioned was apperantly about the idea that the "whites" created a social contract of oppression or some nonsense like that.

One-note is fine if it is a compelling note. Jacob just doesn't have a compelling note.

Samara is entirely predicatable.  Completely lawful stupid.  With how she is presented you can pretty much predict everything she says and how she reacts.

New person jumping in. Yes, she is predictable,  but she has an appeal that Jacob doesn't, she's a justicar. Someone wrote that Jacob is the average guy on the Normandy, its true and why no one really cares about him. I liked his loyalty mission better then half the squad, but that's as far as my interest went because he was so normal. People don't want to hang out with the average joe in a game unless he's doing something interesting.

Yes, and I would not put Samara above Miranda or Jacob just because the Justicar are interesting in what they do.  I thought this was a debate on character.

You're right. I wouldn't put either of their personalities above Jacob, but that's why Samara is more popular.

In my opinion, all the characters were only half finished. It's easier to like Garrus and Tali because they have a back story in ME1. Mordin and Jack feel like the most flushed out members of the new squad. The others have great starts and plenty of wiggle room to expand on, but it just didn't happen. Their personalities are just not up to par with the squad we were use to in ME1, so people latch on to what they can. Samara has the Justigar Code, Thane has this yoda like assassin thing going for him, Miranda is cocky and in a tight suit, and Grunt... well he likes to break stuff. Jacob is kind of left hanging there with nothing but a interesting loyalty mission and a interesting BG that he never goes into.

Are those sudanese arabs not adversely affected by white supremacy? Do they fucnction as white people in all areas of people activity at all times and in all places? I certainly don't think so.

I liked average guys, because I liked Kaidan Jacob however he has no personality what so ever. Its either stiff mister macho, or the priizzzzzze fail of a romance If they are an average guy with a personalty then I am find with it.. However he has none what so ever.

I don't know exactly why it would be relevant, but you stated that you are "hispanic"? Does that mean you speak spanish? Celebrate certain holidays? It's odd that you said "hispanic" as that is a cultural identity which many people of many morphologies and geneologies fall under.

And don't worry about "my logic". How do you know you aren't a white person in your own words? Before we ever had this conversation how did you know you weren't a white person?

nothin. Jacob is boring, we gave up on that discussion days ago. Discussing race and biology is much more interesting than Jacob

You blatant thread saboteurs would feel pretty silly if you got banned because of repeated attempts at derailing this thread in order to get it closed when you could just ignore it and move on with your life.
My guess is that we'll be seeing more of Jacob in ME: 3 and get to know a
lot more about him and what "makes him tick"
