
Last week, when chatting you all up with talk of roleplay vs powerbuilding play styles in Dragon Age, I mentioned that my roleplay-build, rogue-lead party had developed a ‘run and gun’ strategy in order to survive. I have found that this strategy works effectively to get my somewhat-under-powered-by-comparison party out of many tough situations that generally involved being swarmed by seemingly insurmountable odds.
Now ‘run and gun’ is a slight misnomer, being that there are neither guns nor the ability to attack while running away in Dragon Age. It sounds a lot better, though, than the ‘get them to chase me and spring a trap’ strategy, don’t you think?
