Liara was my least favourite ME character. Maybe it's part of my bias towards asari being nothing but a race of geeky fanservice for gamers desperate for alien (lesbian) sex, and the 'melding' mechanic being poorly described and incredibly stupid, but Liara herself was boring as hell. She's mechanically designed for desperate nerds to fawn over her and her dialogue choices range from boring to depressingly awkward and stupid, in her first god-damn conversation, she goes 'OH COMMANDER I THINK WE HAVE A CONNECTION', and I just want to go 'eff you, I just want to know more about your culture and see if you ever properly explain why the melding of nervous systems requires you to go stark naked and why you have mammaries in the first place'.

Cascadus is completely, 100% right. Liara was a completely throwaway character, and I loved her brief appearance in ME2 because it made the fandom cry a river of sweet, sweet tears which I drink every night.



Three poorly put-together, brief conversations with an empty shell of a personality, and now we have five-hundred page threads dedicated to her. I weep for humanity.

Liara is the Meg of the Mass Effect universe. Barely even a last resort for a virgin with one day left to live. And that's just the physical part.
Personality-wise she's as boring as it gets which is probably why in ME2 they try to spice her up by turning her into a complete looney.

So to answer the question, no I don't find her attractive.

I don't like asari in general but the wierd thing is there are plenty of aliens I find attractive and they are much stranger than the asari I think there's something wrong with me
