It was very refreshing to read this ^ post in this thread. My hats off to you UsagiVindaloo.UsagiVindaloo wrote...
Exterminator, you're being really rude. Perhaps if you treated people more respectfully, they might listen to what you have to say? I mean, I got what your original point was (that the Renegade sex scene with Jack could have been played out in a way that didn't shut down all relationship potential) but the way you're addressing Skilled Seeker and other people in this thread is really uncalled for, and I can't blame them for not getting onboard with the topic.
Take a deep breath (or go take a break), apologize for your behaviour, and just try talking in a friendly and respectful manner.

While I agree with how the game handles Jack - what has a high Paragon or Renegade score to do with being able to resist Morinth? Is this somehow to imply that less extreme personalities are somehow weaker?TeenZombie wrote...
And Morinth is a psychic vampire, yes, you really do need to have a high Renegade or Paragon score to succeed in resisting her. This is a game, games have challenges.

Oh, yeah. Jack's renegade romance scene.
I don't get why you want to be able to keep that scene so badly without the romance dying. You can't wait for the much more emotionally impacting paragon romance scene later?
You like that scene so much you just have to have it, or what?

Pretty much, yeah. Same reason you can't stop the Jack-Miranda and Tali-Legion arguments without a high morality/persuasion score. Certain checks are easier for different alignments, though; it's easier to yell at Jack and Miranda and easier to keep a cool head with Tali and Legion (I think I have that in the right order). Similarly, it's easier to resist Morinth's control as a Paragon, because a Paragon is 'further away' than the very Renegade Morinth (if that makes any sense, it's 5 in the morning and I'm not sure I'm saying it right).Ieldra2 wrote...
