I can’t begrudge the alluring dance that Kelly performs for Shepard. It can only occur if you build up a romantic relationship with Kelly, Shepard can’t be in any other relationships at that time, and it is in done privately, solely for benefit of the commander. I find the episode intimate, not garish.

Mostly same, I'm not crazy about the outfit though. (It's a bad color for her!)

Oh well, may as well utter something and there's been something that's been bugging me a bit concerning Kelly. So, anyone want to enlighten me and share their view/opinion would be good.



Having lurked about the various threads a bit I've noticed there's a tendency to depict Kelly as being somewhat...how should I put it?...loose?



But considering what you have to do to actually romance her would suggest otherwise. You can't be in a romance with any member of the squad, though, apparently your ME1 romance is safe. Although I do recall from somewhere that you have to break up with them, though maybe that's just Ash/Kaidan and not Liara. Also you have dinner first! (I don't think the other romance options ever had a dinner scene. What follows after that is another matter.)



The question is this: why that reputation?

She offers her personal insights on each new squadmember Shepard acquires and this can sometimes put people off because she is frank with what she feels about them. Not to mention, if people are *fans* of said characters, quite often they go into defensive/territorial mode.

In short, it's all in their heads.

You know, if I had to choose only two LIs to be in the game, it'd be Jack and Kelly. Jack because she's more "my type" and Kelly because she's has the "girl next door" kind of thing going for her. Not to mention she can shake that money maker reaaaaaaaallllll nice lol. So yea, I support Kelly completely and thuroughly

I would love to read another fanfic about Kelly Chambers. The fact that Kelly serves as Shepard’s personal assistant coupled with her training is psychology make her in tune with all the goings on onboard the Normandy. Although she has yet to fight alongside Shepard in any of the missions her assistance is still invaluable.

I think that Kelly’s optimism is going to be sorely tested by the horrors that she and the other crew members faced in the Collector’s base. I think that she will continue to be grateful to Shepard for saving her and the others; this might cause conflicting feelings because of her expressed loyalty to Cerberus if Shepard now decides to disassociate himself. 

If you write a  I will be sure to read it.  Thanks.

Hm...thanks for that. It makes sense. Though it keeps with her character as she is supposed to be the ship's councilor (?)/resident psychologist. And since she reports to Shepard about the crew's mental state... well... lying won't be of much use.

Came back to the game months later and decided to go back and save Kelly - much better having her sunny self around post game

Still remember the first time the collectors board the ship and grabbed her...I wasted no time heading through the omega relay.

Are you kidding? Until the Collectors took Kelly, Ken, and Gabby, the suicide mission was just business as usual. That made it a vendetta, no one messes with my ship's yeoman.
