As I said in another thread, regarding scale itch, there's only one crew member with a messed-up past and a scripted casual sexual encounter and it isn't Kelly...but I'm not trying to stir up ill will. I'm just observing the facts. :innocent:

If you read the dossiers, Kelly and Zaheed have been spending some "quality time" together.

I thought Zaheed just wanted to kill himself. I'm playing on my Kelly Chambers love interest playthrough, now so I am hoping that Bioware did something special for her in terms of dialoge with Liara, which would be a sign for things to come in ME3.

Update: Man, like Ashley Williams, there is no mention of Kelly when Liara asks "what are you fighting for?", Love interests in ME2 are the only ones that have dialoge options.

Just completed my Liara LI run through and didn't get any mention of Kelly.. though I could still get a nice dance afterwards. About to do it again with my unattached Shep, who is loyal to Kelly.

I was disappointed that I didn’t see Kelly mentioned during LOTSB. 
 
Is it hoping too much that she have her own DLC?

Oh, I’ll take a closer look at Zaheeds dossier in the morning; I missed the Kelly entry entirely. It is nice to see that she wasn’t entirely neglected.

 It seems like more like "Lay your thoughts on me talk from Kelly" more than she were interested in Zaheed.  I just don't see it. She is the ship's shrink after all.

I am suprised that people see Kelly and Zaheed as a possible item. I am I missing something from that dossiers? Again it sounded like shrink talk.

Kelly didn't have her own dossier as far as I can tell. The part being referred to is actually in Zaeed's dossier.



I agree that while it does sound like a shrink talk session, but I wonder if she actually holds such sessions on the ship. She is officially the yeoman rather than the psychologist.



As for her and Zaeed being an item....hm...I can see that being a possibility. She does like her bad boys if I recall correctly, even if it is a 'dirty stereotype'.

New to the forums, but fell in love with the Kelly character almost immediately and when the dialogue options and storyline pointed toward being able to romance her, I kicked the other romance options to the curb and concentrated on her.

Have started working on  Kelly-centric fic and the first part is up. If anybody's interested it can currently be found at:

As far as the latest point that's been brought up, her time with Zaeed in the dossiers, I did get the impression when I read them that she was acting more in her role as counselor than anything else. It seemed to me that she was either; giving the mercenary a chance to talk about his past, or that she was doing what she seems to do really well which is just getting along with people and getting to know them.

If you wanted to read into Zaeed's dossier enough, you could I suppose walk away with the impression that there was something more at play, but I didn't really get that.

I also sincerely hope, as many others have expressed, that romancing Kelly in ME2 doesn't lead to some kind of dead end when ME3 comes around. She's just far to cool a character to bring around for one game and then simply drop. Those are my thoughts anyway. Everybody is entitled to their own.

That people are jumping to read something into such an innocuous conversation I find quite strange.

It just feeds into the idea around the forum that Kelly is easy and cheap propagated by that ghastly scale itch meme. She isn't! So all I see is a young woman trying to do her job whilst an aging soldier relates one of his many tall tales.

Actually, she should suggest to Zaeed that he write a book...

Really the best Kelly fanfic that I've read so far.  It is nice how you effectively communicate Kelly's compassion. More than that I won't say, don't want to spoil it for the other reads. Thank you.

Seems like Zaeed's the non-Shepard person on the ship who most needs an unofficial psychologist to talk to. His entire life's goal has either been thwarted or fulfilled - he's either very distracted or at complete loose ends. Ms. Chambers is just doing her job.

He's also shockingly grounded for a man with his history and probably interesting to talk to. I know I make it a point to press him for stories whenever I get the chance.

Actually, this forum was what kind of inspired me to finally start writing it. I knew there was love for Kelly out there, but I didn't realize how popular she really was. After looking over the "Enticing Thought" thread last week, I decided I really wanted to write this. I'm working on telling the entire romance from Kelly's point of view, and delving even more into this wonderful character.

That's the impression I got from the dossier as well. It almost seemed to me more the kind of situation where you have an 'elder' telling tales of their life to the younger folk, but that's just me.

LOL. Some of the videos in the Shadow Broker's files were amusing and some seemed a little dull, but that easilly would be my favorite!

A very good read. The author did a very nice job of capturing Kelly and an obviously paragon Shepard. Kudos to them.

That is a fantastic story.  You really nailed Kelly's character.  It's obvious you paid attention to details when you played ME2.

First of all, humble thanks Dusty:). It's one thing to have somebody from Bioware commenting on the thread, but the fact that you would take the time to actually look at things like fan fiction is awesome. Hi, just wanted to let everybody know that I have a new chapter up for my FemShep/Kelly fic. After writing Dinner and a Shrink I decided that I wanted to go back to the beginning and kind of explore, at least a little what Kelly was doing on Project Lazarus before coming aboard the Normandy, and how she came to be chosen by T.I.M. for her position.
