Yes, her friendliness and openness is great. She is also the only character who has opinions on all the other characters. I suppose Joker kind of does, but his aren't as interesting.

Like so many have said, she is the only character other than Harbringer that actually seems to be interested in Shepard for being SHEPARD, not an errand girl/boy

Ah, I just recalled another thought. After meeting Kelly, I thought to myself, "Funny, Dragon Age: Origins' Leliana is a sweet redhead, and Kelly is a sweet redhead. Both can be romanced by a female player character. Somebody at BioWare must really love redheads. :P"

You can't believe how many times people ask me if I have any connection to this...er...let's say singer. No, I just LOVE mocking her.

And Ms. Chambers' sweetness comes mostly from her good-natured attitude towards people.

I actually like the parallel many people draw between Kelly and Leliana. They really share a lot of nice qualities.

Shepard is exceptional, with many talents and a wide variety of skills; but that is one subject that Kelly Chambers could certainly school Shepard in.

Am I the only one that didn´t like the dancing in Shepards cabin? It changed Kelly into a generic stripper you see in ****holes like afterlife. Now I don´t dislike the display of strippers in Me2  in general but I think it doesn´t fit to the Kelly I got to know during ME2.

I sort of agree, to me it seemed out of character even for her.

I don’t think that Kelly sullied herself by giving Shepard special performance in his/her private quarters (this can only occur if Kelly is the only existing LI). In Kelly’s email to Shepard she mentions the inappropriateness of wearing her outfit in public, then quietly sneaks up to Shepard’s cabin suggesting some modesty about the encounter. Kelly is the only LI that we can not definitively say slept with Shepard during ME2. The encounter in Shepard room seems more adventurous then outlandish.
 
Aesthetically I prefer Kelly in her Cerberus uniform rather then in her dance outfit. 
 
Any dancing Kelly would perform in public (or teach to Shepard) I assume would be less risqué.

Its not out of character for a person to want to have fun with their partner. In this case its Kelly as a LI for Shepard. Couples do all kinds of things together to spice up their intimate time together. Toys, clothing, etc. Heck, pole dancing has risen quickly as a very common exercise routine now in the US. Kelly is already flirty and generally playful person, I dont see it as out of character for her to want to have fun with Shepard when they are alone together. Shepard did just go on a suicide mission and risk his life to save her. I think Shepard is entitled to a little *fun* with his girl. As it said in the email she didnt want to wear it in public so shes obviously not wanting to flash it around at the entire crew, showing some sort of desire to only keep it between the two *lovers* .

I like Kelly's dance because I never saw it coming and it always good when people surprise you in this kind of way. Besides, as was pointed out, she did it only for Shepard as a way to show how close she feel towards her/him and it's not something she would share with everyone else. Kelly is good at psyche and a small exotic "treat" like that certainly a nice way to relieve Shepard's tention after the suicide mission.

I actually like the fact that they didn't have sex and only cuddled.

This. It's really disappointing that they reduced her to be the priiize in the end, a piece of decoration for Shepard's cabin. Disgraceful, the romance would have had a lot of potential for more than that. I too would like to see her appear in ME 3, but then in a worthy role, please - whether she's a romance option or or not.

I wonder why Bioware just didn't make her a full blown romance option. It seems that they were going to do it, but half way just desided to make her a "Easter egg".

She might not be the most interesting of the 4 women Shep can get to know in terms of backstory or skills, but she is the nicest in my opinion.

I am just saying , I assume that the SR2 won't be destoryed like the SR1 was in Mass Effect 3, so I don't see a reason why the crew would change in part 3 unless, they went on with their lives after the Collector threat is gone.

Thought for the day: Kelly seems to be very nice and open about aliens. She could be a more 'innocent' Shepard depending on how you've played through the game.

Kelly is definitely the best romance. she is sweeter than Liara in Mass Effect 1
