I agree with your sentiment, I don’t want the Kelly romance to be considered a passive one. Items 1 & 2 that you mention distinguishes Kelly’s romance from other romances, but I don’t think it necessitates a lack of recognition later in the story. I see Kasumi’s comments to Shepard concerning his/her date with Kelly as recognition of the relationship. The fact that it is recorded in the game suggests to me that we will be able to continue the romance in ME3. 
 
Maybe I am reading too much into it, but that is essentially why I in my earlier post I consider Kelly Chambers a “full fledge” romance option. It is always nice to talk these issues out with others.  Thank you.

I REALLY hope BioWare transfer and extend Kelly+Shepard romance, coz otherwise this game won't be about choices for me. And it also would have been great if Devs knew that there are people in the forums who really enjoy being with Ms Chambers and consider her a full romance option that can be transfered in ME3 not like some crappy cameo or even short mentioning which is even worse.

Somehow I doubt that..I mean considering Tali was implemented as an LI when there is a MASSIVE fanbase, Kelly is nowhere near that. Still hope for the best though.

I haven't played Kasumi DLC yet, but as I understand she mentions it after Shepard had dinner with Kelly. Just check with her every now and then. :-)

There might be something for Kelly in the future. Why would Bioware go threw all the trouble into creating this sub romance, and not doing anything with it in the future? I think there might be a small chance that Bioware, might do something with the relationship in the future.

she should have more conversation options. it's very short. she is already loyalty for Shepard. I think that she is cute.

Question: Isn't the romance pack just a rumor? Last I read that it was a good idea that Bioware hadn't thought about , but heard it from fans. After hearing about it, they said along the lines: " we might consider doing it".

I hope a ME2 expansion pack comes out. This way you can not only get more Kelly , but have more meaningfull conversions, other than just romance dailogue. I just like it more when characters talk about what happened happed recently. For example, I love talking to Kelly after a squad recuitment to hear her opinion on a person.

As for your question, I believe some BioWare {Gaider I think} said they actually have been talking about it a few months ago. So technically it is a "rumor" as much as Kasumi was a rumor since day one after release because of files on the CD mentioning her DLC by name.



I believe they are working on it; maybe they will merge it with something... like an expansion
