Gone to the redclif camp and some dailen elves want me to killa werewolf.
Now i wondered into the forrst in this campsite and now i can not get out!
When i do try and get out we all fall asleep and Morgan is the only one standing and i got this UBER creature who cant seem to die on my hands.
And i saved in the camp itself....

how do i get out!!

well, u are likely screwed ;d it is basicly a mental resist check on ur party, those with high enough will be left standing, everyone else dies. if u are unlucky to not have a mage that can revive others like wynne, u should try that encounter later.

I killed the beast easy with morrigan. Drain life, frost and thunder did the trick, while jugging a lyrium pot and lesser health or two.

Easy -- use healthpotions .. run in circles casting magic bolt and that will = win

Load an earlier save file, there should be an autosave at the entrance to the forest, or just before you spoke with the Dalish leader, I think. The creature isn't uber if you're playing on normal difficulty, what difficulty are you on?

Normal difficulty.. only morrigan is left standing .. i am only at lvl 7 though.
I'll play through the forrest again and  see how i can get my resistance up though some leveling up would be nice.

1) Get Wynne (even if it is just for this).

2) Use her revive spell to get everyone up.

3) Kill the shade.

4) Profit.

When I did that fight, I looked at the bedroll, then said I was creeped out and was leaving. Then I attempted to leave the camp, and was stopped, and chose a choice like "turn around and see what's there" or something.



Then I got to fight with all four of my characters still standing. I'm not sure if they just all passed their checks or what, but I definitely didn't let anyone lie down.

Same happened to me.

After I inspected the bedroll and decided to leave I was able to fight with all my party members. (only worked with the bedroll )

happend to me, did it with morrigan + 8 potions.

It happened to me with Morrigan as well. The monster is susceptible to freezing, so I used Winter's breath and cone of cold and one lyrium potion on hard.

My main was a Mage, so he was still up and fine. Breezed through with Cone of Cold and Crushing thingamie from the force spell tree.

I save often, so I reloaded on this one. The first time, I examined everything and tried to leave - fell asleep and was left with only Morrigan awake. The second time, I only examined the tent and camp fire, then tried to leave. Sten interrupted and asked why I was leaving and I chose the "Why can't I think?" dialogue option, the shade crept up behind us in the cut-scene and we were all awake.



I've gotta say, that was an excellent trap idea.

Was able to kill the Shade with only Wynne.



Heal > Damage > Damage > Heal



Repeat.

at lvl 7 morrigen should be more then sufficient to kill the shade. You need to have health pots and mana pots on her though and chuck them.

I'm not trying to put you down, but when you were examining everything...didn't it, you know...seem like a TRAP? I know I didn't fall for it and left, which brought out the spirit with everyone still awake.
