How many times have you guys installed ME1? There's a limit to how many installs you can use. There's a tool on EA's support site that lets you get back those installs by "de-authorizing" previous installs. You can download it at:

that's very cool but I switched machine's more than 3 times... and this tool causes only to de-authorize the game on this copmuter. Anyway, I found out that deleting paul.dll from binaries folder helps. But then I get a message to insert the correct cd in to the drive... it is in the drive!!. I found out also that this specific disc problem occurs after installing 1.01... any help with this please ?

Well if you can't de-authorize any of the machines, due to reformats or what have you, you can contact EA Support and have them grant you additional authorizations. That's going to be the only way with having switched machines so many times. They've been responsive for me with any issues I've had. You can chat with them with only a short wait at -
