That is because physical attacks ignore kinetic barriers, hence why a Varren does more damage than a shotgun at close range.

Those pics are not canonical. upgrading them is optional and the story plays out the same regardless. They are just game play mechanics.

Woman can do as much as a man can in anything.

That's naive.  Estrogen cannot maintain the kind of muscle mass that testosterone does.  Women just lack the chemistry to be anything more than girl-tough.
Still, girl-tough is stronger than some men.

Your not very educated I take it Estrogen are in both men, and woman

xenoestrogens.
phytoestrogens.

No kidding estrogen is in both men and women. Women have more estrogen though hence why it is termed the "female hormone" while men have more testosterone.

Umm, are we even playing the same game?
Go melee a shielded target. It damages the shields.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was talking with a mentally challenged person.  Men have higher levels of testosterone and women have higher levels of estrogen.  The end.  I'm not debating something which is common knowledge.

It's just a gameplay mechanic.  Not related to the actual science behind Mass Effect.

It is not just a gameplay mechanic.

Can anyone but shep or legion use a widow? Nobody else is strong enough.

That is a gamelay mechanic as well for the sake of giving the game balance being that the Widow is a tremendously powerful weapon.
Really, combat and weapon choices are all non-canon.  Just look at any cutscene and every character will be holding the Avenger assault rifle, including ones who don't use assault rifles like Mordin and Tali.

Gash.  Please do not spam my thread.

You do realise Mass Effect is a game, right?

The game writes the rules.

You are just bull****ting.

As with almost all games. Some liberties are taken when it comes to gameplay realism. The cutscenes though are part of the actual plot and I expect them to be realistic.

I am not mentally challenged  Yes men have higher testosterone, and woman have higher levels of estrogen, but we both have this same gene. They don't say it is not primly a female hormone, nor is Testosterone primly for males either, We have the same genes in us just different levels.

*mild self promotion*

Here's femshep being intimidating and scary for you B; from one of my works.

Lysa kept running, trying to find her way through the clouded warehouse; she needed out before whatever creature was hunting them found her as well.

Fate didn't see things her way.

Another gun shot and she yelped in pain, stumbling and landing sharply, clutching at her wounded leg. Heavy, booted footfalls caught her attention, and she looked up to see a tall figure emerging from the surrounding smog. Cold, glowing optics stared out from a faceless mask, black armour speckled with a few droplets of blood. Then she saw the mark on her killer's forehead, and her eyes widened, blood running cold. "J-Justicar…" she whispered, breathless with fear.

The figure stopped a few feet away from her, silent for a moment before they lifted their gun, levelling it to aim at her head.

"Correct."

Granted she's kind of psychologically broken at that point, so anyone can be scary. Not the point though, its about perception, and if you find you can't overcome your less than conventional views, why are you playing a Femshep? I like the fact that you can be just the same as a maleshep, I'd be pissed the f*ck off if Bioware played the gender card and said "Oh! We've changed the Femshep dialogue to fit her gender role!"

Thank you Jack for the following line...

F*ck that.

You're mentally challenged because you're disputing the role testosterone plays in muscle mass development.
