They should replace female Shepard's renegade dialogue.

I know it's supposed to be "Shepard" but it only makes sense when it's a male Shepard.

Dont know what else to say..Female shepard does have a badass voice...

And if she had "sedduction"
CAN YOU JUST IMAGINE WHAT THE QUICKTIME EVENTS WOULD BE LIKE?!

Let's put Veetor as an example
Ranegade:
Shapard shoots the screen

Seduction:
Shepard dances in front of Veetor

*rolls eyes* You still wouldn't laugh at her if she had a gun to your face. (or groin because you're a male)

Besides, the game is set 200 years in the future and sexist views like yours are lesser; everyone takes her seriously besides that one idiot Batarian in afterlife.

I mean it :3

Sexist views are not lesser.  The majority of the alien species in the game are patriarchal.  That is why we see no female Turian, Krogan, or Salarians.  It's because they're all sheltered making more soldiers for tomorrow's wars.

It's purely hypothetical but if Shepard were to pull a gun to my face I would use my lightning fast reflexes to push the gun aside and then go for her nearest pressure point to disable her.

Fale again, woman in the Salarains race rule over people. Krogan after the genophage really do have to keep their woman save, since 1 out of 1 million births are still born.

It is not just a gameplay mechanic.
Can anyone but shep or legion use a widow? Nobody else is strong enough.

That is a gamelay mechanic as well for the sake of giving the game balance being that the Widow is a tremendously powerful weapon.
Really, combat and weapon choices are all non-canon.  Just look at any cutscene and every character will be holding the Avenger assault rifle, including ones who don't use assault rifles like Mordin and Tali.

Gash.  Please do not spam my thread.

Actually if you read the rifle's description it says rather plainly that a normal humanoid could not fire it, as it would likely remove their limb.  Which is to suggest that the reasoning behind only legion or shepard being able to use it, would be that they are the only people of the bunch with bodies that can handle it.

As to melee not being affected by kinetic barries in canon...that's not true either.  Even one one of the cut scenes, it shows an irate lawyer being made aware his legal briefs do not have kinetic barriers, while shepard was threatening physical harm.

You know, it doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman, what matters is how big your gun is. MaleShep wouldn't be that intimidating without a gun.
I for one, would not f*ck with my Shep if she pointed a gun at my head.

Hell, I love a woman who could kick my ass. :)

Sexist views are lesser. By saying that you're essentially approving of discrimination against someone because of their birth. Are you saying that BJ? (you don't mind me calling you BJ do you? Didn't think so.)

Female Krogans are kept seperate dut to the low breeding rates. before that they were moet likely out on the battlefield, right alongside the males. Shiagur, anyone?

There is absolutely no evidence at all for any discrimination in the Turian Hierarchy against females.

Aaaaaalllsoooo, Salarian society is Matriarchal. wikiness

"Normally, the rare salarian females are cloistered on their worlds out of tradition and respect. Powerful female Dalatrasses are dynasts and political kingpins. They determine the political course of their respective regions through shrewd negotiation. Though male salarians rise to positions of great authority in business, academia, or the military, they rarely have any input on politics, though the salarian representative on the Citadel Council is male."

I did not say women of various alien cultures have no role to play at all but they certainly aren't in any combat roles.
Women in Mass Effect's universe are clearly not warriors.
If they were, we would see them fighting.

Edit:

I'm sorry...WHAT?

Hello.

The Asari?

You know, that alien species made up entirely of women? Of which 99% of them can tear you a new one with their brains? Whose commando army could've taken over the universe if they really wanted to?

That is strictly Asari culture.  Asari are the only species known with natural biotic abilities so that aspect of their biology no doubt gives them some respect as warriors amongst other species.

Indeed! Female turians just haven't been seen yet because Bioware hasn't gotten off their asses about creating that model for them in game. They're around, we just don't see them.

Just because we don't see children running around on the Citadel doesn't mean they aren't there =P Bailey tells you they're running around all over the place.

And the only reason for the lack of female turians in the game is BW not having enough time/money to create female aliens. There are turian females in the military. Reach and flexibility, anyone?

You have no point to make. Seriously, everything you say is based on theory.
In ME, Shepard meets what? Lets say 500-1000 different characters through the course of the game. I'd say at least one quarter of the enemies you fight are female.
How do you even have a theory based on women not being in combat roles when there are trillions of different beings in the galaxy, yet we have only seen 500-1000?!?

your not a feminist, because you think men are superior to woman.

I think men are physically superior to women as in physically stronger yes. Does that really mean that I cannot under any circumstances be a feminist?
So you're effectively saying that any man/woman who believes that men are generally physically superior to women aren't feminists?
Funny, I know plenty of feminists (women and men both), some of them pretty hardcore, and they would never be idiotic enough to argue that women are on an even playing field with men in feats of physical strength. Just look at most sports for crying out loud.
Now if I argued that women were intellectually inferior to men then that would be completely different.

Wow, I really don't know what to say to you. It's people like you that gives feminists such a bad name.
