They should replace female Shepard's renegade dialogue.

*raises eyebrow* You...you have seen women right? I'm a seventeen year old girl, I should have the most critical view of all, and yet...I don't. How strange.

That's another reason you are so kickass!

Next topic: "They should give male Shepard's more diseases

Think about it: men naturally have less DNA than women so they can't protect themselves against certain diseases. It would be cool and realistic, despite all of the advances in the game set 173 years ahead of us, to have Shepard fight both the Reapers and hemophilia. It doesn't make sense that Shepard, let alone every single male in this game, just happens to be perfectly healthy since gene therapy or advanced technology wouldn't change the fact that Shepard is a man and therefore genetically inferior.

Male Shepard's dialogue applied to Matrix:
Paragon Shepard: I'll take the blue pill and break this fake world.
Renegade Shepard: Someone's been ****ing around with MY reality? Give me the blue one!
Sick Shepard: Which one is the blue one? Sorry, my colour blindness is acting up."

Sounds ridiculous? You mean just like this topic and the shallow, inconsiderate suggestions you keep upholding?

Um... Genetically inferior? :bandit:

Male Quarians didn't exist in Mass Effect 1 because there are hardly any Quarians outside of the flotilla.
I don't doubt Bioware's art department was limited in time to develop female counterparts to each species, but it is because of that that they had to incorporate this limitation and pass it off as species having a patriarchal culture.

Again, explain female Krogan warlords (Shiagur) and Miss Flexibility.

The patriarchal nature of species is purely wild extrapolation.

"Genophage... There aren't that many women left for the Krogans so they cannot let them fight under circumstance. Aren't you forgetting the female warlords of the past? Ruled over planets and armies? I'd say that is a respected female fighter.

And... We don't see 10,000 of them throughout the game... We haven't even seen a Turian female yet, so it is too early to make those assumptions for them."

The genophage happened thousands of years ago meaning that the entire generation of female Krogan have likely never even fought in a battle of any sort. Therefore, regardless of what role female Krogan may have played in Krogan history, they have been relegated to the status as breeders and that is all male Krogan will ever see them as.

Guys he is a well known troll just trying to provoke you because he has no life.

Just leave and he will have no one to respond to.

If everyone does leave though there will be a new "scrogging" thread in a couple of days though.

Female Shepard may be tough but she still looks like a non-athletic, slightly out of shape middle aged house wife.  Appearences are what matter here and the fact that everyone in the game treats Shepard exactly the same as her male counterpart is what irks me.

Your definition of middle aged house wife has been tried and found guilty. Or you lack design skills. Probably both.

*Claps for Busom* Goddamn man, you are just hilarious, thanks, I needed this laugh.

You believe BioWare would actually put that much thought into not putting females in the game? They didn't create a patriarchal culture for every race, they wouldn't even put that much thought into it.

I'm not talking about her face, I'm talking about Shepard's body. An athletic female has a lean, muscular build.

Female Shepard is kind of squat looking.

AntiChri5?! I thought we were buddies. It upsets me to hear you make such accusations against me.

I see you've caught the negligent comment. Just another way to phrase "have less DNA" while paralleling the "women are physically inferior" statement.

They didn't do so for the sake of just keeping females out.  They did so due to time restraints.  Every game has some ideas cut before the final release and in Mass Effect's case it was female aliens.
Rather than just leave it inexplicable, Bioware worked around this time restraint by designing the alien societies with a patriarchal backround.

Indeed. "This is the last piece of bread I can give them... aw crap, let's go to the store and buy a new piece of bread."

Please give evidence beyond the lack of female character models.

No, it was implicitly stated that there were no major characters in ME1 that were male Quarians, so it did not make any sense to make an entire new model for ambiance characters.  I assume the same is of Turian females.

And a quote from the wiki;
Boot camp begins on the 15th birthday for all Turians. Soldiers receive a year of
training before being assigned to a field unit; officers train for even
longer. Most serve until the age of 30, at which they become part of the
Reserves. Even if they suffer injuries preventing front-line service,
most do support work behind the lines.
