All squad mates have their respective fans, but if you were around for the original board, and the consistency here, you should know Tali has the biggest following. And for good reason. <3

It would be nice, and her "mystery" has no bearing on why I like her as many so erroneously believe, but if they don't it won't be a big deal in my opinion. Most do want to see what she looks like though.

The Kal'Reeger following is baffling. Yes his voice actor was in fourteen episodes of that show you like. It doesn't make him an interesting character.

Pesonally, Tali. Obviously her role won't be too major, 'cause of the whole "she can die" thing. But that doesn't really stop her from being a squadmate.

Kal'Reeger was cool as hell. But if I had to choose between him and Tali, Tali would win.

I'd have no problem with adding Kal to my squaddies while keeping Tali, tho.

 Kal'Reegar is dead in half the playthroughs, so no. I wouldn't mind Tali dying either, or become an admiral and dying to save the Normandy in a climatic space battle. A new Quarian could be nice. If mordin doesn't come back for ME3 we should have a genius-savant Quarian engineer to do our upgrades, build things. Quarian dementia always annoys me for some reason. Theres a reason Tali wasn't a LI in ME1.

I suppose it depends if they make ME3 parties require different skillsets, and also who the main badguys are. Tali was pretty good against Geth, but not too good against other opponents. But then she's an Engineer, not a Soldier.



I usually adopt the Warrior role myself, so I tend to want a Biotic and a Tech on my team. If my shep was a Biotic, then I usually picked a Fighter and a Tech to round out my team. Tali was very useful to me throughout ME1 & 2.



Plus, I really like the character too, and enjoyed the Loyalty mission and the all too brief romance with Tali. It touched me in a way so very few games do.



So Tali for me, though I really like Kal'Reegar too and would gladly have him aboard the 'Agincourt' (the ship that replaces Normandy in my ME3)

And aside from that, Kal'Reegar has a snowball's chance in hell at being a squad member in ME3. Not only is he a minor NPC, but the primary reason that we're worried about whether main squadmates will return (the ability to die) is also very much applicable to Kal'Reegar.

Kal'Reegar can die easily if you miss the interrupt or want him to help against the Collossus. In addition, he's a minor NPC and I doubt it would be sensible to make him a squad mate in light of that. If we are choosing between Tali and Kal'Reegar, am I going to choose the engineering genius or the common soldier? The former is unique, the latter can be fulfilled by characters like Ashley, Grunt, Zaeed, etc. He's cool and has a cool voice actor, but he's really not that interesting.
