I'm predicting that ME3 will have a sort of "Pick your squadmate pool" portion, where you can select from old and new squadmates (that are still alive). Kal could be amongst the "new", and would probably be classed as a pure combat spec in terms of talents, with Garrus-level health but Legion-level shields (to even out).



The "select your squaddie pool" would allow people to omit the people they didn't really care for and keep those who they liked.

That's my favorite scenario.  I would be very happy it they did something like that for ME3.

I can definitely see Reegar being a squadmate in ME3. He's an interesting enough guy, he's Jayne Cobb, and he could be presented with this whole "Tali's bodyguard" complex that you have to wean him away from.

I like Kal, but I dont think I want another soldier, with my luck, romancing Tali will make her die for illness(I didnt, still comptemplating whether to romance Miranda or stay loyal to Liara)

Tali by a mile. I really don't see what people saw in Reager. He had one or 2 decent lines and other then that was completely forgettable.

Tali is just a boring character, we don't even need her now with legion a far better engineer and sniper

I'd stick with Tali and I'd ask that she be made useful in combat again. Hate how gimped she was in ME2. I rarely took her anywhere except for Legion's mission and her mission.

Upgrade all drones to explosive, and there you have highly-volatile distraction/bombs wandering around some unfortunate fellow. A lifesaver in insanity

I don't get why people say she's gimped. Even on my vanguard/insanity playthrough, explosive drone and her geth shotty are quite formidable for me. Still takes a lil micromanaging to keep her up, but tbh most squaddies are like that, minus grunt. Imo, anyway.



she's certainly not THE most useful squaddie, but imo she's a far cry from useless.

Well...to be fair, while kal was epic in what little screentime he had, he still had less than 5 minutes of shine-time.
