i just got ME1 on steam and beat it but ME2 isnt on steam, how to i transfer the file from ME1 to ME2 since the other is not on steam. oh and i did try to import already its not visible just for the people who want to ask that question.

Are you importing using the game menu? Try manually copying the save files to your My Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 2/Save/ME1 folder.
