Just wondering if anyone had the same experience, or if I just encountered a bug, but when I was finishing my last ME2 playthrough (for some time at least), I took Kasumi along for the suicide mission platform fight and when I used her grenade on a Harbinger, he (it?) no longer did anything. I literally just Charged and stood there watching him from melee range, nothing happened, no attack, nothing. I just killed it without being shot even once. I tried it once again in the final fight and it was the same story. No fighting back after being hit by the grenade.

The grenade damp tech and biotic abilities for a while.Like damping in Mass Effect did.

Are any of Harbinger's abilities considered tech or biotics? This may not be a bug.

They are warp and singularity, both biotics.

Damping it is.

Harbinger does not have Warp and Singularity. He has two kind of fireballs, a big one and small one. The grenade renders him completly helpless.

Harbringer uses special biotic abilities, and warp and singularity are the two abilities that come close to this.Flashbang grenade damp biotic and tech abilities. Not only on harbringer, but also on asari commandos and eclipse techs.

Only two incinerate attacks in mirandas loyality mission which is full of eclipse techs.

That one that forces you out of cover clearly looks like a singularity with an other colour.Look at it when it misses.

Even if the Flashbangs do effect Harbinger, they should only shut him down for six seconds max. Do you remember how long he was helpless Kronner?

I just did the collector ship and the same thing happened to me.  No attack whatsoever after the grenade, I punched him from full barrier to death.  Tried it everytime he appeared and every time was the same.

Happened to me too on the suicide mission. I could go up to him and poke him dead. Probably a bug, He just stands there forever.

I guess harbringer is suffering from the ME1 overheat bug.
