I read the op and honestly was like "wow." Then I read some of the other posts and was like "wow." Where is her dialog? I think it's horrible you can't talk to her on the ship. She just talks at you like Zaeed. I wish bioware would make characters that you could talk to on your ship instead of just clicking on them and they talk but you can't talk back. Personally I think they should never release another character who you can't talk to on the ship like normal.

I really loved the DLC, the mission was creative, loving the space tuxedo and I gotta say Kasumi is one of my favorite characters. Before this it was just Tali and Garrus but Kasumi is now officially on that list. Like many other people have said I really wish you had a conversation tree with her, I don't mind as much with Zaeed honestly I'm not a big fan, but it would be great with her. Also slightly disappointed that there is no romance option. I know that it was incredibly traumatic with her past boyfriend but still she is quite an interesting character. Normally I am Tali all the way but hey Kasumi would be awesome. Maybe if Bioware is feeling DLC-y they could throw us a bone extending her as a character with like conversation trees and a love plot and so on and so forth. Just a thought, all in all sure hope to see her in ME3.

I think they should give a free DLC for both Kasumi and Zaeed with conversation trees.  I think it should be free, b/c honestly, I think it should have been there in the first place.  Normally I don't complain about how bioware does there work (by normally I mean like ever) but this time I honestly (and respectfully) think they made a mistake with not giving characters conversation trees.

Agreed, honestly I would mind if it's like 2 bucks or something, but really in such a story and character driven game it is rather odd to deny us proper interaction with said characters. I mean you can always say it is post-game and shouldn't be held to the same standard, but really does anyone want lower grade additions for the sake of additions?

I dunno ... being in the middle of calibrations does not equal "proper interaction" in my book.

Whatever mechanic it is, I just want it to be engaging.

Worth it.

It may have been easy to recruit her, but I'd hate to have missed out on ignoring the "advertisement" until it cycled through everything she had to say...

Put me in the "I want dialogue, not monologue" camp. It's a huge part of Bioware games for me. As someone said, it fit with Zaeed-- the old guy who spins tales at the local and all that. He probably wouldn't register what you have to say, anyway. But Kasumi is definitely someone you would want to draw out. Kelly says as much, when you talk to her after the recruitment.

But other than that, she's really one of my favourite characters now, both for her personality and her nifty combat abilities.

As for the dialogue tree issue. I agree completely (Of course), a dialogue tree is a must really.

As for the ease of recruiting her, I don't mind it. It adds a bit of variety I think. If every single character had the recruitment and loyalty mission it would seem a bit forced to me. Both Zaeed and Kasumi are simply paid to work for you, dont mind that at all.

i dunno, i'm a huge kasumi fan, but

if they make kasumi romanceable

they'd have to make zaeed romanceable

..... D:

Why? Unless someone is into 50-60 year old grey haired, mutilated and bitter mercenary who only gives a damn about money and death of Vido? ;)

zaeed is 40, and he is a sexy badass

Huh, I guess time hasnt treated him well then, I could swear he is around 50. But then again I guess getting shot to face and rough life of mercenary leaves its mark. B)

Indeed. You arent really recruiting Zaeed and Kasumi, they are already recruited and you just need to pick them up from their current locations, unlike the rest of the crew whos recruitment is your business from the start.

I agree with you all for the most part: I love what Bioware did with this DLC, the story, the environment, the humor - I do however find Kasumi a little odd for a thief. When you're recruiting her, you're talking to an advertisement, in a public place (with security around non-the-less) about how great a thief she is. Does that strike no one else as a little odd?

And it probably was just me, but when I recruited her on insanity she died CONSTANTLY. I barely had a chance to set her a target and she was dead O_o I haven't had any other squadmates die like she does, really put me off her even though the basis for her attacks are downright awesome.

I don't mean to bash her, I think she's a very intriguing addition to the team and I'll definitely give her another chance in combat as I can't help but love the stealth attacks. But I thought quite a few things made her seem out of place as a 'subtle thief'.

Was worth buying bioware points when i lacked only 20 to buy it in the first place :D imported from ME1 once again just so i can play with her in the sqaud from the start.

I havnt ever done a romance in ME yet bar ME1 since it was kinda forced on me lol, but i'd so do a kasumi romance :D hopefully they don't get rid of her in ME3 but we will see i guess. think this DLC is great the charecter has just right amount of subtle badass that i love.
