Why not? Are you saying that the only discussion of BioWare that is welcome is unending, absolute praise? What point is there in discussion if all that discussion entails is drooling fanboy idiocy? BioWare have shown over the last several months that they do not respect their customers or their community, and that they have absolutely no intent on actually providing either a fully working product or any sort of comprehensive communication between themselves and their player base. This is also well in line with standard EA practices - and it is extremely obvious at this point who is in control of what goes on at BioWare, how they relate to their community, and how they support their games. Simply put, we are seeing the downfall of a legendary PC game developer, and it is absolutely childish to pretend that everyone is blindly in favour of that downfall. If you cannot tolerate opinions other than your own, I suggest cloistering yourself somewhere, closing your eyes, and sticking your fingers in your ears.

But work isn't finished, and neglect has set in on their part to fix a game that is broken for a large part of their audience, and not working quite the way it should for the other parts. Those who mod the game do so to better their own game-play (as well as those who use those mods to enhance theirs), and its not their job to fix things that aren't supposed to be broken in the first place. To that end, there is a large portion of their audience that plays through console (like myself on the PS3), who are largely unable to access these fixes, and thus rely on Bioware.
It isn't Chris' fault there is no new news. So throwing questions at him doesn't help, unless that question is supposed to encourage him to relay that back--which is my hope, in most cases...
Er, I don't know. I feel bad for being petty, because I just want my game fixed, but I also feel justified because there is simply no other way I can go about to prove a point..
Eh.

What a stupid little ****ing gnome.

edit. And yes the reason I voted DAO is because I do like the game. Not a fanboy or avid gamer, I prefer being in the gym working out to be honest, but when I play games, I am an old school D&Der at heart, and DAO reminds me of that feel. I attempted to play Assassins Creed, it was pretty, well made and interesting, but I just couldn't get absorbed into the game, which DAO and Awakening has done. Hell, I have downloaded the Kasumi pack for ME2, and haven't even played it. I just want my archer in DA to have really kick arse stats, and smite stuff...
Edit 2. After going through some of the posts, I will add that yes, I have had the following bugs. Usually on the road between Redcliffe and Denerim, it freezes. Some issues with loading, not lag though. Mind you, I don't have much on my hard drive for the xbox, and I delete old characters once I have played them through. Some quests, esp the mags collective don't allow me to finish them at one town, so I go to another. Sometimes the game does crash. But remembering the early days of gaming, with Civ 1, Leisure suit Larry, Xcom UFO.. things have definitely improved. I guess being an older gamer, I remember how bad it used to be, not like a lot of people in this forum, who hit the height of intelligent game design like Balders gate, Civ 2 & 4. and other games. It is hard when you have to make games that can't be too intelligent so a section of the community can't play them, or they end up being too much like oblivion, or too first person shootery (is that a word yet? No, okay get Rachel Ray to say it on TV). But in comparison to the games on the list, this is the best pick of all. Plus, comeon, the soundtrack is worth half the price of the game anyways, and the catfights between Morrigan, Leliana and Wynne. tell me whatother games have that??

Take your fanboy goggles off for one second and read it. It is not negative, far from it. It is what you would call a very constructive post. However, I think the last sentence must apply to you. The difference between a fan and a fanboy is that a fan is not afraid to hold a developer to account for major problems with the game. They are fans because if they did not like the game they would not even bother being here on the forums, considering its been nearly six months and there still has been no fix for DA:O. I respect the fans for trying to keep BW honest and to account. I loathe people like you who bury their heads in the sand and do not have the integrity to stand up for the real fans, but would rather kowtow to a developer who does not care about you or the game. There is no irony lost in the fact that we, the fans of the game, care about the game more than you, the fanboy, does!

+1
If I am here to complain about the lack of patch it is because I loved DAO. I found Awakening a little bit too short but I knew it would be short before to buy it and I still like the story. If I did not love the game, I would have already throw it in the box containing the games that I don't play anymore rather that wasting my time on the BSN on the track of any information about the next patch.
The reason why I am upset is that, since Awakening release, I have played it during about 5 days and waiting for a patch for about 1 month in hope to be able to finish and enjoy my second playground (I should be able to finish this playground without patch but the huge amount of broken side quest would ruin all the fun of the game).

I like this game, but there's no way I'd vote for it since after six months they haven't fixed anything, only done everything possible to get more money from us. How can they expect us to support them when they've shown us none?

Fex casts heal on Obtusifolius. Obtusifolious had not taken any damage because of her thick skin armor so Fex uses the extra turn to caste haste+inspire on party.
Obtusifolius uses the extra turn to start combo attack. Troll takes 412 damage + 100 flame damage! Troll is near death!

Right, because that is both in the original post on this forum AND the voting page. I love how no one on this forum can ask a question without some smug idiot giving them grief over it.
Don't worry, I couldn't figure it out either. They're asking us to vote for stuff, not read things damn it!
