The counterpart to Wario, Mario's evil counterpart. I think lack of creativity is at fault here. Apparently whoever made up Waluigi figured adding 'Wa' was enough. That or he was going for some kind of symmetry with Wario. Either way the end result sucks. I don't like his character design as much either.
It's fitting I suppose. Luigi has like, one or two games where he had a starring role and they were pretty horrid. It's only fair his evil twin gets shafted too.
