Hi all,
I did several searches of the forums and was unable to find this issue, so if the question has already been answered, forgive me.
When I try to launch the configuration utility from the launcher, I get the error:
The following file could not be found:
F:\\Games\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries\\MassEffect2Config.exe
I searched all my drives for that file name and came up blank. I know that it used to be there because I've used it in the past to import 2 different characters and played through the game with them. Aside from installing DLC content, the only other change I've made to the game is to install patch 1.0.1. I can't say for sure, but I think that the file disappeared after I installed the patch.
Is there a package on the CD I can unzip/rar to get this file back, or do I have to re-install completely ?
Either way, any help would be appreciated !

It's on disc 2, in the file "apps.rar" I'd add that back in then rerun the 1.01 patch or reinstall the Kasumi DLC if you have that, just incase that file was updated after the 1.01 patch.

Do you have any idea what caused it to go missing? I just had the same thing happen to me. I even remember importing a few ME1 saves last week, so I had to have it then. I searched all local drives and the recycling bin (which I hadn't emptied in a long long time and couldn't find it.
Since I have the game on steam I asked it to verify local files. Time to see if that screwed up my coalesced.ini file
