1. Mass Effect2 by far has better graphics than any
game i have ever seen in person
( one of which is God of War 3) , or
on my computer, t.v, etc.
2. In my oppinion, God of war 3's graphics are not that impressive, nor gameplay.
3. I don't think any game out yet even scratches the surface of me2's gameplay, and dialogue.
4. God of war 3's total campaign is not anywhere near as long nor as compelling as me2's.
Please respond with your opinions and views on the subject.

I started playing God of War 3 a week ago, but I've really gotten fed up with the (non-RPG) hack 'n' slash genre (I knew that in advance, but I decided to take a chance on the game anyway), so I haven't yet felt the urge to continue past the two or three hours I played during my first session.
It's definitely a visually impressive game though - apparent right from the start with the massive sense of scale in the environment in the first chapter and a ton of detail in character and level design.
As far as graphics go, what I've seen of GoW3 is in my opinion not a match for Uncharted 2 though, which - in several levels at least - is the best looking game I've seen yet on any platform, and that includes Crysis on near maxed settings (technologically no doubt a superior game engine in some areas, and definitely better with trees and foliage, but it still doesn't beat some of the truly amazing vistas in UC2).

Because they're different kinds of games? Seems pointless unless you're interested in "I like that kind of game, you're dumb!" "No I'm not, this game is better, you're dumb!" back and forth.DarthCaine wrote...

Now gameplay Wise while GOW3 is Fun hack and slash it does not have near the amount of replay, so for my dollar if I had to choose(which I didn't bought both) I would Buy ME2 for one simple reason MORE GAME PLAY HOURS.
EDIT, Uncharted 2 Does not even touch Crysis MAX at a high resolution Hell I think Just cause 2 has better graphics then Uncharted 2 except for some post effects and shadowing, but the scale of Crysis and Just cause 2 are much bigger then Uncharted 2 in uncharted to levels are confined.

GOW3 you can see the skin details, sweat, Perfect Geometry, meaning things look rounded instead of Squared, no Jaggied lines, huge scale levels and backgrounds

Mass effect 2, lower detailed Textures Imperfect geometry and Jaggieds, small confined levels

Mass Effect is a great achievement in gaming.
Both are completely different game play wise, and the graphical quality is so nearly equal there's really no point in debating it. GoW has great graphics, Mass Effect has great graphics.
If you really want to give your class mates **** go ahead and tell them Mass Effect was doing next gen graphics with superb quality back when God of War was still on the PS2.
Other than that there's not much to say.
