Hmmm... Alistair only agrees to have a threesome iirc.

The foursome is Leliana(hardened and romance), Zevran, Isabela and the PC.

Nah, she's still pious and all, but just has a few different extra dialogue options at different times (Like the ones that were mentioned previously).

This game is going to make me go bonkers. I just did her personal quest this morning. im going to have to make another play through to do this. (Im tired of spineless cowards around me. Is it possible to harden alistair as a guy. Not into 3some but just to give him some backbone.)

I was technically romancing both at once but hadn't been forced to pick yet and so they both agreed but Zevran said it was too crowded.

It really isn't, no.

Many of her "adorable" comments still come up even if you harden her. For example, in Orzammar you can talk to that dwarf who seems very eager to go and study with the circle of Magi. If you have Leliana with you, she will comment on how adorable the dwarf is, regardless if you hardened her or not.

The only thing that changes if you harden her is that she realizes that her time with the chantry, while peaceful, was ultimately boring and lacked the excitement that her previous life had.

She does not become bloodthirsty or evil in any way. If you listen to her party banter with Zevran, she specifically says that she does not enjoy killing, but the hunt itself (investigating, gathering facts, sneaking around, etc) is fun. It's like riding a rollercoaster. Sure it looks dangerous or frightening, but it's fun! Nothing wrong with that.

She still remains as sweet and adorable as the first time you met her.

Same applies with Alistair.

I will have to harden her on one of my play throughs it seems; I am nhot getting the full picture!

Look at it this way, If she is unhardened Leliana will regret everything she did: the hunting, the killing, practical use of sex to get her way (maybe to steal or kill someone after the deed)...



If she is hardened she will regret only the killing, but the rest she will miss because it is the feeling of danger that excited her.

I myself have no problems hardening Leliana. In a roleplaying sense and considering what we do, especially as Grey Wardens which may call for some drastic or extreme decisions/actions. I do it as my character would being a Grey Warden that if anything, Leliana won't be bothered by it or get in my way.

Don't get the notion though that I play as an evil, cruel, and malicious Grey Warden, I play the exact opposite as best I can.

I'm definitely paying more attention to her now: I always thought though unhardened, she realises that those were things she had to do then, but she is in a better happier place now.

I hardened her twice and left her unhardened twice. I always got the notion that she seems happier when hardened.
