Bioware opened a new studio in Montreal, at the EA Montreal location. I think it is safe to say that these guys have to be working on something. So what is it? Are they doing extra work on SWTOR? Are they creating new IP? Are they making Jade Empire2?

What is going on at Bioware Montreal???

They've been working on the sequel for a bit now,  I would say they've got something else up their Bioware sleeves....would have been EPIC if that was the EPIC announcement...methinks. ;)

Is that to do with NWN?  I keep hearing "something" about Shattered Steel but always thought it had to do with that?   I haven't looked it up so.

Shattered Steel is an old old multiplayer mech game that Bioware made, I think before they were even called Bioware. It is entirely unlikely to ever see this franchise rebooted, but it is one of the few listed game franchises on bioware.com

i think you can download a demo of Shattered Steel, I tried but couldn't get it to work.

Well some games if too old...I just can't get them to work on my machine.   Hmm will look it up on the net, but I highly doubt its Shattered Steel, unless they are planning on some sort of remake...science fiction for the win, if so. :) (I'm a sci-fi fan hehe)

Shattered Steel is an action game released in 1996 by BioWare for MS-DOS, and later ported to Mac OS by now-defunct Logicware. It is notable for being, according to BioWare, the first mech game with deformable terrain effects.[1]

hmm regarding my above question, it just dawned on me that it would have been cool if Bioware had ..had some trivia questions like these in their contest. It would have been fun to do lookups on for sure. :)

yup, trivia is far superior to referral links.

that way, people like me (specifically me) will be able to win every trivia question within seconds of being asked. boooyah

so what is going on at bioware montreal? if we know they are working at EA offices, what could they be doing?

do we know of anything happenign there? any bioware devs now working at montreal? i can't stand that an entire bioware studio is operating without me knowing what is going on, it is torture.
