Not taking any of the biotic powers, so maybe Energy Drain, Geth Shield Boost, Flashbang, or Warp/AP ammo?

I've been using Energy Drain on my Infiltrator and it's worked really well - makes it play slightly more like a beefed up Engineer (Drain replaces the missing Overload on the Infiltrator). Warp/AP ammo are also good choices as Infiltrators only have Incinerate to deal with armour.

I wouldn't get Geth Shield Boost as the Infiltrator already has the Cloak for survivability and the +10% weapon damage from Improved Geth Shield isn't really worth it. Grenades are much better when used by your squaddies, as when Shep uses them they're quite hard to aim as they bounce around alot.

Reave tends to cover the biggest gap for the Infiltrator's skills as they have no skill capable of dealing with barriers. They have Incinerate for armor/health regen. and Disruptor Ammo for shields/synthetics. For weapons, Heavy Pistols and Sniper Rifles are great against armor and the SMG handles shields and barriers so without Reave only the SMG can take down barriers quickly.

The alternative would likely be Dominate if the Infiltrator wants to use AI Hacking as this would allow them to control organics in addition to synthetics.

I'd grab Warp Ammo for the nice damage boost and dealing with barriers and armor, Squad disruptor deals with shields so you have all defenses covered. (For insanity, btw.)

I believe warp ammo counts as a biotic power, canonwise. You're not loading in special ammo; you're making em warpy with your mind.

Course, in terms of game mechanics, its just another ammo power.

I also didn't want to choose a biotic power for my infiltrator, because it doesn't make sense in terms of the game's canon, Ended up choosing AP ammo. The infiltrator only has antishield and freeze ammo otherwise, and extra AP/HP damage is useful, without interrupting liberal use of cloak.

Warp Ammo is biotic... :P

I like Neural Shock because of its speed of delivery and cooldown, its effectiveness with even just 1pt, its stagger effect on defended enemies, Husk instakills, and because it gives me a stun vs organics to pair with AI Hack vs synthetics.

I could see Energy Drain being pretty good, damaging enemy shields while refilling your own. Would reduce the amount of time you spend in cover waiting for shields to recharge. Really though, the shield refill part is the best feature, because Disruptor Ammo + SMG chews through shields pretty quick. Hell, even a high ranked Incinerate will do pretty good damage vs shields. I don't think enough people realise that.

I think Flashbang and Cloak would have some overlap, but it'd probably be a useful ability anyway. I prefer to just bring Kasumi and use hers. Of course, you could take it and take Kasumi...

AP Ammo? I'd rather just take someone with Squad Incendiary if I wanted more of an edge vs armour, which is rare (Horizon, Reaper IFF). Heavy Pistols and Sniper Rifles tear through armour pretty quick as it is. As for health, Cryo Ammo takes care of that.

Warp Ammo? Barriers are pretty rare. Just take some combination of Thane, Jack, Miranda or Samara with you on Collector missions. Besides, you can take barriers down in one or two shots from a sniper rifle (even the Viper can drop a drone's barrier in two shots). The only barrier in the game worth caring about is the Praetorian's, and for that you can bring the Collector Particle Beam and two Warpers (or one Warper and Jack). IMO bonus ammo powers on Infiltrator are a bit of a waste. For the most part, using the right gun to break defense and then hitting them with squad cryo ammo works out better.

GSB? Cooldown is too long imo. Would prefer Energy Drain.

I prefer AP Ammo over Warp, but a majority recommends Warp Ammo. Personally Warp Ammo felt weaker than AP and was not satisfying to get the head shots off.

I was much happier with AP Ammo. I'd like to try Inferno Grenade or Neural Shock on another play through.

Of course Reave is the best Bonus power, but it doesn't fit with the Infiltrator class motif.

Warp Ammo I believe would count as a biotic power. It's Jack's bonus power, at least. I tried it once, but decided I preferred squad cryo ammo more.

I've tried Geth Shield Boost and Energy Drain. I'd definitely say go for Energy Drain. Not only does it give the Infiltrator a means to attack shields, it will replenish your own. It's saved me a few times when my shields have gone down and I'm low on health.

I haven't tried Flashbang yet. I had heard it works much like Inferno Grenade, which means you have to learn how to throw it properly to get any range out of the thing.

It's biotic by lore, but by game mechanics I think it's the same as all other ammo powers.

I went with Neural Shock. Priceless to line up head shots.....if anyone survives the defence stripping hit them with it and they are pretty much out of the fight.

If you're going to play without respeccing I'd take warp ammo and evolve it into heavy warp ammo. That gives you the missing damage bonuses against barriers and armor.

Not that infiltrator actually needs a bonus power. IMO a bonus on infiltrator is overkill: you'll be just fine without one.

He already said no biotics. Why do people not read?

Well, I don't regard Warp Ammo as a strictly biotic power, I think just of it as some kind of modded ammo. So, maybe I'll switch energy drain for that. BTW, does Disruptor ammo do anything to barriers, or is it just shields?

If you read the description for warp ammo it does mention the person with the skill using biotics

/end nitpick.

My Insanity Inf uses Energy Drain and I love it, quite honestly :)
