Any class with Geth Shield Boost... though I am sure it works with soldier and infiltrator the best. I'm finding the skill to be incredibly overpowered and game breaking. Once you have all the cool down upgrades obtained it basically makes you invincible. Was it intended to work this way? From the description it seems like it ONLY gave you the boost to your shields.. not restore them completely a long with the boost.

Vanguard was excellent because charge recharged my shields when I was in a desperate situation.

I tried Vanguard on insanity, and I just suck with that class. Engineer or Adept and its lights out for the bad guys.

Keep in mind that it stacks with Tech Armor as well, so it will completely refill your entire shield strength when you use it.  The Sentinel can also attain a -50% cooldown (-30% from Guardian and -20% Tech) so it only takes 6 seconds to recharge.

soldier is really simple to play.

other classes are stronger if you play them right and can make insanity look really easy watching other people play them. they can also die much quicker.

soldier is a pretty consistent run through

The Sentinel is really easy on Insanity. I jumped from a Normal Infiltrator to Insanity with the Sentinel and, with the exception of the fight versus the two scions on Horizon, the game was a breeze. The problem is I spent about 90% of each fight hiding behind a box waiting for my chance to use one of my powers. The Sentinel gets the job done, but if you're looking for maximum fun, it is a bad idea.

So far I have beaten the game on insanity with the Soldier, Adept, Sentinel, and Infiltrator. And surprisingly I enjoyed the playthrough with the Adept the most .. It fit my play style and I just loved how the powers worked, a great CC class. So I would recommend the Adept.

in that order.

The engineers drone is crazy imbalanced if you ask me. You can go toe to toe with a heavy YMIR mech if you do nothing but recast the drone every time it dies. No need for cover.

I've played solider, inflitrator, vanguard and adept and out of that bunch adept is by far the weakest and soldier the easiest on insanity, imo.

Anyone saying Vanguard or Adept is a bit crazy imo. They might be easy when you're experienced in the game and the class, but in terms of learning curve, Vanguard Insanity is a little cliff-like.

So far infiltrator has been so easy since i got less scared to use my sniper (hate running out of ammo)

Just did Horizon with 0 deaths and only 1 " tough" spot.. being able to 2 shot harbinger is very nice :P and scions went down fast too with headshots + my incinerate + mordins incinerate

With the adept i killed wasea in the first stage of the fight. The second room didnt open,so i dont have to face the enmeies there. One disadavantage of the drone is that geth hunters completly ignore it.

Infiltrator has an instant reset button with cloak. You don't DIE, even on Insanity.

Sentinel or Infiltrator. I prefer playing Sentinel, though.

For a while I thought that the adept was the easiest class on insanity, until I recently finished beating the game on insanity with a soldier. Soldier is definitely the easiest class to play as on insanity. The second easiest class in my opinion is the adept.

When cloaked, health and shields dont regenrate. When in the red veins, the infiltrator could still die when getting hit with crossfire. Cloak is overrated as an keep alive talent.

I'd say sentinel, soldier, vanguard, respectively.

Well I started my first play through on Insanity as a Vanguard, but it gave me so much trouble and frustration I rerolled a Soldier, and although it was still a challenge, it was definitely more than doable. But I do hear the Vanguard gets considerably easier later game.

Noted that you don't become INVINCIBLE, but INVISIBLE.  However, enemies immediately lose you when you cloak, and 99% of the time you can escape to better cover, far from the action, line up a headshot with your sniper, and eliminate the enemy before you become visible again.  IMO cloak is the best ability to keep the action moving without death, even on Insanity.

I completely creamed Insanity as an Adept. I personally had an easier time as an Adept on Insanity than as a Soldier on Hardcore. Just my playstyle though, but Heavy Singularity kicks major ass. It works on everything; Armor, Barrier, and even Shields! Having Reave or Energy Drain makes the Adept insanity playthrough even easier IMO.

Energy drain isnt needed anymore with the arc projector.

The arc projector doesn't replenish your shields does it?  It also has limited ammo...
