I'd like a strategic gameplay in ME3... like, you'r a commander of the citadel fleet (the alliance, the asari, Turians, Hanar, Krogans Salarians e.t.c) and you fight along side the terminous systems.... you control lots of ships, battlecruisers, frigates e.t.c and in the reaper war,  Like starwars Battlefront 2; galactic conquest or total war all episodes.

what do you think??Posted Image

I thought about it too, shame it's not gonna happen. It would be awesome if they licensed Creative Assembly to make a spin-off though.

For a spinoff, sure. For the main game, no. Hell no. The balancing act between RPG and shooter is quite enough, it doesn't need to be bogged down with 325226 more unrelated gameplay elements.

I think NOT.  Don't get me wrong; it's a nice idea.  But integrating this into the main gameplay would effectively change the genre of the series.  That would fail with flying colors.

Implementing this as a DLC would be a better idea.

Well, it could be added in somewhat simplified way with dialog options. Like, who is going to do the main attack, turians or alliance? Who attemps a flanking maneuver, quarians or salarians? Results for those decisions are played like the specialists picks on suicide mission: order wrong fleet in wrong task, and it gets curbstomped. Order right fleet to right task: crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women. (latter part invalid if opponent being Reapers)

BioWare would be smart to license another company to develop a RTS game set in the Mass Effect 'verse. Although, that all depends on how ME3 turns out.

To be honest i like it the way it is - i'm not a strategy fan, so Action RPG is better for me than Role Playing Strategy.

i guess if it comes to full-scale war with the reapers there might be some descissions you make that alter the course of the main fleet or the refugees in various ways. so not strategic but influential in some way

I agree with this for a spinoff, but I'd prefer to see the main trilogy unencumbered by too many new bells and whistles.

Would rather have a decision making system. Save a military base or a city from destruction. Make the fleet use hit-and-run strategy or a toe-to-toe strategy (full frontal assault) and etc

thats what I ment... maybe a little bad explaind but... Posted Image

what if every planet in the citadel space had a speciality, the turians are realy great ship engineers and have the biggest fleet in teh galaxy so the turian homeworld maybe contribute with additional and uppgraded ships..... and if a planet belongs to the salarians the uppgrades, troops, fleets e.t.c are salarian.
and with ''strategy'' I mean, for ex.  if tuchanka (krogan garrison planet maybe) and Ilium gets attacked at the same time and you can only manage to get to one of the planets in time you have to choose.... it's not a ''right or wrong'' desicion...
the storyline would be much more variable and it would have maybe 5 different endings wich would be very nice in my books... then you could play the game over and over again and don't get sick of itPosted Image

It would be great if they could make it more action than a direct RTS. In addition to this, maybe as a few levels but not as a majority of the game.
