Yeah, my sister convinced me to get Fable 2. It wasn't fun, it was a chore. I doubt I'd get Fable 3. :\\

The only amusement in 2 was seducing all the townsfolk and have a massive orgy in the castle.

Who wants to make a virtual love child with me?

:pinched:

It might be a virtual Demon child.  Come to think of it that is likely what Fable 3 will be....the demon child of 1 and 2.

Demon child is okay in my book. I don't discriminate against inherent evilness.

Hmm, does this mean that you can play as a girl in Fable 3? I thought in the 1st and 2nd game you had to play as a guy.

Here’s another if you all hadn’t seen it. I was only reminded of it after talking to Darht. Clothes were so important in the second that MORE focus has been put on them in the third.

Yeah, I remember that one too. It just goes to show out of touch with gamers Molyneux is. People didn't change clothes because 1) You just figure out what outfit you liked early on and stuck with it, 2) It never mattered how people reacted to it because you could easily win them over regardless, and 3) None of the outfits were really all that interesting to begin with.

Its not because we didn't "get it" its because it was a gimmick that didn't have any depth to it, there was no need to not stick with one set of clothing.

Fable 2 lets the player choose a gender. You're right about the original game.

Well it is Fable...maybe they'll throw in another gimmick where same sex partners can procreate....why not it would revolutionize gaming.

Anyways....Demon child it is then.Image IPB

chiliztri, I'm sure there will be enough virtual bachelors for you to chose from. The Fable III Official message board will be ripe with baby making threads. I count on it.

You and me too Seagloom. I'm not afraid to say I like to mess around with clothing options. I did it all the time in Oblivion with mods. However, making that the focus is going to be a problem. I don't think it'll be fully realized.

Another strange addition to a game series I am quickly not caring about.

I heard Fable 1 lets you plant acorns and they would grow into trees.

The most revolutionary thing Fable3 will do is co-op. Not to take a jab at a product that doesn't exist, but Fable1 and Fable2 were not revolutionary, they just took various RPG elements in put them into a mainstream RPG game.

if they nail coop in Fable3 it will be the best thing the fable franchise has ever accomplished, IMO.

Ah Fable and Peter. Will this revolutionize the world like your other Fable games?

I dunno...I think this is a case of saying to the Fable Devs,  "be careful what you wish for".

Sounds like it could definitely backfire on them....

to stay on topic, this sounds like all the molyneux features that are remarkable in writing or hearing in a press conference, but do not convert well into a video game experience.

I'd like the Fable games more if they didn't have this annoying random **** on top of it that gets in the way of the gameplay experience. Because lets face it I LOVE having the ENTIRE ****ing town follow me around everywhere because I play a good guy.

Ok is it me or does it seem like they're trying to broaden their market, meaning appealing to the general female population, by adding baby's and placing greater importance's on clothing?

I can just see it now guys have an angry girlfriend because they're playing the game so they just hook them in with virtual procreation and fashion shows. Although interesting, especially the anyone can be your baby's daddy, the feminist in me is a little angry.

It's starting to look a lot like an MMO version of the Sims.

They might start hold us to standards or something. One of my good friends that played the Sims meticulously planned each and every one of his in game children for perfect genetic traits.

I can see some players being picky.
