Warden: Oh yeah? Well. . . so is your beard.
Duncan: That's very mature.
Warden: Oh yeah? Well. . . so is your beard!
Duncan: That's it young lady. You are grounded.
Warden: (runs off crying) You are not my real father! I hate this place!

Edit: That was awesome!
Warden: But I have to practice to get better.
Duncan: Of course, just don't get caught.

LMAO! I thought the same thing. I usually roleplay my characters to be Duncans illegitemate offspring. (Often giving them brown hair and gold eyes.)julian08 wrote...
Duncan: I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed. You can't just run around and steal from people. That is wrong.
Warden: Oh yeah? Well. . . so is your beard.

I felt like a kid getting scolded. "But dad, it was weally weally shinny..."

I was so embarrassed when I saw that the game responded to my thieving ways. But I kept true to my promise to Duncan to PRACTICE MOAR. I cannot disappoint Duncan's expectations! I steal from almost every single person I meet and I've raised my Steal skill to max!

Oh, and to echo Challseus. I think it's awesome that I keep finding out about things in the game that I haven't seen before, despite numerous playthroughs.SO FUN!
It is, isn't it. Another example - it took me several playthroughs to learn more about the Slim Couldry stealing quests in Denerim. Rather than immediately using your stealing skill, you can set the marks up by chatting with them. The conversations and outcomes are a laugh - such as leaving the b*tchy noble in the magic shop standing around in just her undies.
