lol, oh as for hidden gems of info. I actually managed to speak to Sten of his child hood. Turns out he was raised by priests. No one in the Qun has a parent, just a birth giver. I also saw the entire Morrigan hits on sten convo through which ends with him offering sex and the way he describes it scares the **** out of morrigan. Seriously he said she would need an iron bar and heat it up to stop him from Nuzzleing, he also said she would need a suit of armor and asked how strong she bit. I have also managed to talk to sten about him invading Ferelden. not the default crap he gives you normally, im talking way more in depth to details and stuff. 2 trigger points for random convo in denerim are in the entrance to market and in the nobles inn. Just walk around a few and you should hear some amazing things from your party members.
I tip my hat at Bioware and David Gaider for an amazing indepth experience on companion convo and miscelanious conversations. Truely amazing.
To those who say sten lacks a personallity obviously you havent had him in your party much, funniest Party member ever. Are you a priest? Leliana: No. I was a lay sister. Sten: So you dabbled in priest hood? Lelianna: No I just lived there and helped out but took no oaths. Sten: So you were house guest of the Chantry...? Lelianna: uh...sort of... PC(In my head says): HA!

Having begun reading The Calling, that's really awesome and very much in line with Duncan's character. XD

To trigger it, fail at pick-pocketing an NPC. Don't use stealth and only have a point in Pick-pocketing. May help if your cunning (or whatever attribute pick-pocketing uses as a modifier) isn't very high.

Very much in Duncan's character. If you read the books by David Gaider you would see that. A little spoiler here. He was a pickpocket (and a very poor one at that).

Oh yes, it's well worth it. I was halfway through the Wilds but I reloaded anyway in order to do this.

Ive never robbed from ppl there, may want to try, but if your wondering about the past comment, you hear about it in the second book.

Sten is the greatest NPC in the game. Morrigan's sexual harrasment backfiring on her is hysterical. It seems Lelianna is really the only one who can tease him and he actually gets embarrased. I've never spent any time with Oghren and Sten together . . . but I have to believe that's a hoot.
I was disappointed he was not the default character to return in Awakening . . . but the man said he was returning to the Arashok. It fits his character that he would do so.
