I let that cow kill her own son: Alistair gives me only -3 (and he doesn't know that I'd rather kill the entire a55holes family.. he's too good and naïve to appreciate it XD).
I don't like the sniffy behaviour she acts with Alistair and me.. she was the one who wanted Alistair go in the Chantry, she accuses the poor Jowan, she lets an almost entire village die, and I have to travel to the Circle of Magi to save her ass? no way. kill your son, and live in regret.

Getting past the fact that she is a rude ingrate, there is her hypocrisy as well. Her precious little Conner is too good for the circle, but she has no compunction about shipping innocent little Alistair to the chantry to get strung out on Lyrium, and die a virgin. I just saved all of their asses yesterday, wish I killed her. You can't tell Jowan to get lost and never be seen again, and kill Isolde too, right??

Nope, she only dies using Jowan's blood magic.

Jowan definitely gets a bum deal. If he helps, he either gets executed or shipped off to the Circle (who will either kill him, tranquil him or send him to Aeonar). There's an option to go execute him yourself, after the ritual - it's a shame you can't take the opportunity to let him go then.

Actually I think at that point its more cruel to let him go. He just seems so resigned and ready for it to be over at last.  I also couldn't resist going down to "execute" him and finding out why he started using Blood Magic.  *facepalms* stupid stupid boy if only he had let me help him instead...

Agreed, that conversation gave me new light on him, but I still felt like he was an idiot. He could of just asked for help instead of not saying anything and turning to blood magic. In fact, he brought it on himself even more, he made too many poor choices like he said and he wants to atone for everything.

Oh DEFINITELY an idiot...poor boy seems as if everything he touches turns to caca.  There should be a "Slap Jowan upside the back of his noggin" mod for all aspiring mage Wardens.

I think the best part is that Jowan was almost a companion, can you imagine it?

David Gaider wrote...

It's interesting mainly because there was a time when Jowan WAS supposed to be a joinable party member. He initially was a temporary party member that you could take with you when you found him in Redcliffe, though he wouldn't leave the castle at any point. Later we decided to expand his role into a full party member, so you *could* take him out of the castle and then invoke the Right of Conscription when you spoke to Arl Eamon.

As such things go, we just didn't have the room to add another character onto the pile. So he had to be cut (the permanent part of him was never done, the temporary party member thing was cut later on). It might have been interesting to have a Blood Mage who was also reformed and trying to be a good person -- though maybe someone you could also lead down a darker path again very easily.

He'd have to have been rendered less whiny, though. Just saying.

Aha, it worked! Eeeeexcellent...

Well... yeah, that's all I like about her. xD She's whiny and the things she did led up to a lot of destruction, but I don't really hate her with a passion lol. She's alright in my book.

*goes back to camp*
*waits till Morrigan is asleep*
*steals her clothes*
*goes back to Redcliffe, makes Isolde put them on*

PC: Let's go for a stroll shall we?
Isolde: Um...ok?

*they reach the town square*

Everyone: Witch! Witch! Burn her!
Isolde: WHAT!? I..... ahhhhhhhh!

*tries to run away with all the townspeople chasing her*

PC: Well, looks like my job is done here Image IPB

EDIT: oops, finger slipped to enter button before I finished
