I'll forgive Bioware for stealing my sword if it shows up 100 years later and my new character can find it in some stash with a codex entry about the alleged legend of it's orgin. That would really be awesome.

And what if you simply get a better sword? Image IPB

When I saw that epilogue card I did a double take. What? Are they serious? Crows just randomly steal my sword at the end?Image IPB Wonder where they are going with that.

I was already peeved at the Crows, I helped that slackjack Caesar during Origins and he said the Crows wouldn't accept new contracts on me. BS, thats why I returned to my throne room and a Crow almost shot me in the face.

If I meet them again in the future, they will become headless rather quickly. Image IPB

You forget how deadly crows actually are, The qunari wont even invade antiva cause of the crows guild lies there. They should make theses guys harder to kill cause there the best of the best. Also sword stolen is a good thing cause we'll see it next game :)

Sure, I'll be killing all the ones I see in the next game. Image IPB (if there are any)

Most of the Crows you fight are in either ragged clothes or light armor with two short daggers. I don't know about you, but that isn't deadly enough to kill me, but rather its a free meal quite frankly. Image IPB

And if Sten is an example of a typical Qunari warrior than clearly the Warden has nothing to fear.

Antiva has no army to defend it. The only military forces are owned by the merchants that own mercenary forces and fight for control over the market. i read on the codex that the qunari wont invade antiva because of the Antivan crows Guild they are easy to kill they should be harder considering how deadly they claimed to be. But i think they just had the sword taken in the codex so they could bring it back easier in the next game.

By the end of DA:A, if your character so much as blinks at anthing, it dies. Your power level is such that the Crows' only chance is to drop a small nuclear weapon on you while you're asleep.

The only thing that really makes any sense is that Master Ignacio did it to lure you to Antiva so you could go into business with him as he suggested at the end of the quest line in DA:O. I'm sure he'll return it - he knows very well the consequences of pissing you off too much.

Rawr Crow blood. In all honesty people never learn. You've stepped on their necks so many times by now yet they keep comming back for more. I hope Rogue characters get the possibility of assasinating the Guild Master at some later date, that would be so awesome ;o

I'm curious to see whether the upcoming patch will change something about the text in the epilogue, but I rather doubt it; it's unimportant compared to all the bugs which must be fixed. If there is a new expansion coming out or a DA2 in which you can import your Grey Warden, I think the sword will transfer over. Why? See, if they allow a dead warden to carry over, I don't think that a sudden retrieval of this sword is too hard to accept.

Can we get a picture of the non-glitched sword in here? Just so I know what I'm missing being on a console (which may change now that I am oogling all the pretty hair mods there are)

So lemee get this straigh. They give you Starfang in DAO, but then take it away when you transfer a character to Awakening. But then they give you a sword just like Starfang in Awakening, but then they take it away in the epilogue.

LOL. Just LOL.

It's obviously a plug for DA2 to explain how the hell you find it at the bottom of some dungeon/dragon's belly.

It is also a plot hook to explain why it gets might get in the hands of different protagonists for future games.

'Wandering weapons' is a part of many fantasy literatures.

Even Excalibur left, came back, and left again.

Well the Crows did say they would no longer accept contracts on you. They never said anything about your property.

Oh well. I have a trip to take to Antiva now. Nobody. Touches. My. Sword.
