So in DA the Crows are so uneasy about going up against a Warden recruit only someone suicidal woul take them on and if you complete their quests they promise they won't accept any new contracts on you and yet in Awakening not only do they plot with nobles to kill you but they steal your sword? That's it; in non-romance US ending Zevran always eventually goes back to conquer the Crows so it's time to speed that timeline up a bit...
And how did they even manage to steal the sword if we take it everywhere because it's the best sword around?
One of the best theft on Mexico around Century XIX was trapped when he was more vulnerable: On the bathroom (poor guy, he left his pants behind and beyond ) AND it's more easy steal from the mighty almost god warden than killing him
And maybe, just maybe, having to work with a guy you can't kill it's bad for bussines, even if he could work for you, it's better have the same advantages with more Killeable people, and after another epic fail they say: BAZINGA! (getting the sword)

People who play the game may falsely get the impression that real knights walked around armed in plate armour and wearing their swords all day long. They didn't. A normal medieval nobleman didn't go around wearing his sword all day long, as it's just impractical. That's only in movies and games.

That is true, it would be very easy to steal the sword from the warden, if he was at the theatre in his finest and left the sword at home. Anyway, my warden always wanted to go to Antiva and talk to the crows, especially after the Zevran incident. Anyone have a map of the place, I think it is time to board a ship and maybe ask Shale if she wants to forgo killing pidgeons and maybe do a little crow killing. Antiva, that is a good name for a wine cellar, anyway that is all there will be left of the place when I go there and do some hunting and building and wall smashing.
Codex History: Antivan Crows - mythical group of assisins who lived in what is now called the Warden Wine Cellar, which was once a city, but were wiped out to the person during the great Warden sword hunt. Both the city, Antiva and the Crows were never heard of or seen again.

That's partly how i'm rolepalying my current games. My party wears normal clothes as they travel. They only put on their armor for extended adventures such as the Deep-Roads, the Forest and the final battle.
Armor is ri-i-diculasly heavy. If Alistair and Sten fall over they arn't getting back up until at least two people help them. If it's muddy and swampy that better be before they drown. There's a reason war-horses where so bloody massive.
Not to mention tone of the major jobs of a squire; cleaning the poop out of his masters armor. You can't get that stuff off to go to the toilet easily, or at all really. They just used to... go. Loghain sure looks spiffy in that armor of his... but damn, stay up-wind.
No, no. There is no reason for Alistair to be squatting by the fire, potentially crapping in his armor. when we are on 'downtime'.
Sorry if I grossed anyone out. =P

on the the next DA expansion or DA 2
you probably get to go to Antiva and meet Master Ignacio or Zevran
and then they will help you get your sword back
and then you go to orlais and meet morrigan/leliana

I killed both Zevran and Ignacio because I didn't like their accents. I think going to Antiva would simply make me frustrated that I can't kill everything ever.

Hehehee
First scene: Warden go to the Theater or with one of her/his lovers ... not sword with him
Second Scene: Warden back because tomorrow next fight with Darkspawn (Darkspawn for lunch)
Third SCene: Warden draw future legendary sword and found his hilt was a fake with this sign "From Crows to Warden: BAZINGA!"

Besides we we're able to transfer all our items in out inventory that wasn't DLC into awakenings, most likely vigilance will transfer over to DA2.

Well, it doesn't specifically say that the sword is stolen directly from the warden. Think of it, he only has about 30 years to live, after that the sword could get passed on to someone else and THEY lose it to the crows.

True, you could have given it to a companion. Maybe it got stolen off Sigs for all we know.
