To anyone who has concerns about the shipping address we have for you send in a case to service@biowarestoresupport.com and we'll check it against our list.

In regards to a tracking we will not be able to send tracking number. However I'll post in this forum when we start shipping orders. All orders should arrive within 5 business from when they are shipped. The closer you are to Colorado the quicker the delivery time.

Thanks!

Sweet, I'm in Los Angeles.

My package of goodies came around 9:30am, I'm in Virginia. Everything listed in the auction came (no missing bits) but the poster (which is much bigger than I expected) has some damage. A small rip (very small, about the length of a sharpened pencil's led) and some creases along the side. I assume this is because of how it was shipped. All the comics/books have no damage so I'm not sure if it's worth a fuss.

I wonder how they are determining what order they are sending out the packages in.

I got an email from Jesse that said they got some digital download versions of ME from the EA Store so most likely people that wanted the PC version of ME will get an activation code in with the rest of the stuff.

Hey guys, BioWare is shipping out:
Jade Empire Pack
Dragon Age Pack
Mass Effect Pack (sent out for delivery)
Comic Pack (sent out for delivery)
Dragon Age Novels Pack
BioWare Literature Pack
Mass Effect Prequel Pack
Mass Effect Novels Pack (sent out for delivery)
Mass Effect Statue & Artbook

Those are all going to be sent using Fedex from here in Edmonton. The custom PC's and Xbox have already shipped, either from Edmonton or from LA, and some should already be delivered.

Pretty much everything else will be coming from the BioWare store which as already mentioned is located in Colorado.

It is good to know the stuff is getting sent out(and that my personal info is sorted out), but now I'm back to the waiting game. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is almost like waiting for Christmas as a kid.

What does it mean that some prizes are "sent out for delivery" and some aren't?

Oooh, great to know what's being shipped. Now the camping on my porch begins in earnest. Can't wait to get my hands on that art book.

Still have a while, though, all the way down in Mississippi.

If it doesn't say sent out for delivery it means we are still putting the packages together.

More than I needed, heh! It makes me a little sad as it was basically work I didn't need to put in to get it. Of course I had no way of knowing that, otherwise I could have breathed a bit easier on the last day. No doubt Bioware didn't mind all the extra work I went through getting my link out.

Pretty sure the other ME2 CE PC went for like 2k less than my bid, or something around there.

Only digital downloads for Mass Effect PC? How annoying.

It would be nice if people stopped supporting digital downloads. However unlikely that is, as companies will continue to push them for their higher profit margins and the fact that they can't be traded into GameStop or sold on eBay when you are finished with them. Can't forget to mention the customers who are more then willing to give up the advantages of a physical item for the convince of being able to queue up a download instead of heading out to the store or waiting for a package to be delivered.

I have no interest in selling my PC games after I use them so getting them digtally is not that big of a problem for me.  While I would have much preferred the retail version of the game, I pretty much expected them to go through the EA Store digital download service.  I could easily get a retail version of ME for the PC from my workplace, but put it off because I thought I was going to get one from this.  Either way I'll get the game and hopefully the EA Store's download service works ok.

I have used Steam for the majority of my game purchases over the last few years so I'm comfortable with going the digital route, but having never used the EA Store's service I'm a little wary.

This is going off track a little bit, but I for one love digital downloads. <3 You speak of advantages of physical media but I seem to be missing them... if you lose the physical media/CDkey its gone. with digital it's not going anywhere. with the physical copy I need to worry about making sure the disk is in the drive before I play the game, digital bypasses this need. The ONLY advantage I can see in a physical copy is you can resell it? I guess thats kinda nice but I would just recommend not buying games that aren't worth owning(obviously not  a perfect system.) The resell market is pretty shifty for PC games because of the weird DRM that comes on some software, its possible you'll buy it but you'll never be able to activate it properly , etc. This is why Gamestop wants nothing to do with reselling PC games. Well, there are other reasons as well, but this certainly would be one of them.

While arguments against digital distribution could certainly be made, I think it's a little silly to say that the physical media is better.  Yes I understand the companies can stand to make more money by going with, but big deal? Ideally the prices would/will go down once DD takes off because now they won't need to make sure gamestop/shipping companies/publishers all get their cut. I'd rather pay my 40 bucks to the DD company/Developer directly, at least they'll see more of it (in theory, and them getting more money means more money to spend on game development)

Sorry for getting off track, I could go on, but I just felt like adding my two cents. I think if we wanted to continue to discuss this though we would want to be considerate and start a new thread for it, this thread certainly isn't the thread to do it, heh. :)

Forgive me for any terrible grammar or spelling I missed. :)
