Hi

I need to know a way to majorly override the mouse sensitivity to make it a lot lower. I have just bought mass effect 1 pc, and moving the mouse 1cm makes me spin about 10 times.

I have tried the following:
Switching between hardware and not hardware.
Sliding Sensitivity to 0.
Reducing mouse point speed to nearly nothing in windows.
Using Windows 7 64bit and Windows XP 32bit (machine is dual boot).
Putting the MouseSensitivity setting in Documents/BioWare/Mass Effect/Config/BIOEngine.ini to about 0.5, 0.05 etc.
Multiple resolutions.
Changing a whole pile of other settings in all the .ini files which appear to have anything to do with sensitivity, acceleration, smoothing, camera, turning, etc.
SWITCHING TO AN OLD BALL MOUSE !!!

None of the above have had any affect :crying:.

Desperate here to get my non-refundable money's worth. Bioware? Moderators? Community? Please?

Update:
The mouse sensitivity TEMPORARILY goes normal after I change the screen resolution DOWNWARDS, or change certain other video settings.

Unfortunately the sensitivity goes hyper-fast again as soon as I do something like change any setting or save the game.

While working it assumes a useable sensitivity which corresponds properly to the sensitivity slider in the options.

This is of course completely unsustainable. Any idea what's going on?

Fixed:

Had to unplug my gamepads from the PC.

Talk about weird symptoms and strange solution.

Found the solution here:
