Which ammo type works best with the Revenant? I think the AOE of Inferno would make it slightly better but the damage over time thing and the regeneration stopping would be a little useless as the Revenant fires so fast that most things die very quickly.

Inferno defienetly it panics the enemies making it easy to take them out

I strongly sugest using Inferno Ammo because it can set enemies on fire and that a huge help, especially in a newgame+ where early in the game enemy will take huge amounts of damage to go down.

I'd say Inferno, like you said, it's AOE, stops health regen, does damage of time, and stuns organics.

Inferno is one of the best ammo types you can have, multi-functional and very powerful.

Here's another vote for inferno ammo. On top of that, you have heavy disruptor ammo at your disposal for synthetics. With Improved Geth Shield Boost as your bonus power, Tungsten ammo's +10% weapon damage advantage over inferno ammo and heavy disruptor ammo becomes void.
