Tali and Thane, no question. They way they break down. Jacob's was just...uh...Jacob's. Miranda's was nice, Samara's was just action-action-action. Garrus was the typical B.A. Garrus story, Legion is bland as an overall character, Zaeed as well. Grunt is just a soldier, Mordin is just a scientist. Jack's had it's share of drama, but not sad drama. More like "Holy hell, how could they do this to you, they're sick!?" drama. Have yet to play Kasumi.

Pretty much all of them were moving in some way, it depends on what affects you as a person more. For me Samara, Legion, Jack.

I can understand how someone would find Samara and Jacks' loyalty mission emotional but not Legion.
I demand this is explained.

I didn't call Legion's mission emotional. What I like about it is that the decison you have to make is a very difficult one, when you consider that the Geth are obviously sentient beings, not just some software on legs. You are making a decision which could affect their entire race in unpredictable ways. Either solution is questionable from a certain standpoint and you can't flag either one as "right" or "wrong", and that's what appeals to me.

I became more attached to my squad in ME2 than I did to my squad in ME1. I loved all of the loyalty missions.

Most moving for me was Mordin's as I could see he really struggled with his past actions, even though he tried to justify them in a logical way.

Tali's pissed me off so I guess that's an emotional reaction as well. It made me want to beat some sense into the politicians and my own choice to keep her loyalty made me feel dirty. I hate cover-ups. Which made me want to beat some more sense into the politicians. I couldn't get off that ship fast enough.

Two words for Jack's "messed up." I had Zaeed with us and even a hard-ass merc like him was freaked out. I envisioned my Shepard returning to the Normandy and going right to the shower to scrub off the stench from that place.

Tali's, Jack's and Samara's were all very touching or at least made me have an emotional response, anger, frustration etc. Bioware did a great job with all of them though, I also liked Mordin's, some of his cutscenes were very touching. Have to say the facial expressions of everyone in ME2 are fantastic, you can really see hatred, regret, shame without them even saying a word, nice one Bioware.

I liked all of them, but i don't understand Jacob's it was so bland. Legion's was by far the most morally compelling, Samara's character wise, Tali's trustful, and kasumi's a help

Most emotionally compelling was Miranda's because we get a glimpse past the cold as ice exterior and see she is not as perfect as she was created to be.

I don't see that everything's black and white in ME2 because of paragon and renegade I think they should get rid of it. If those Paragon/Renegade points didn't pop up I might make diffrent decesions.

Tali and Miranda were it for me, got pretty emotional. Legion's had the dilemma (much like the Rachni (sp) Queen choices).

Jack's?.... yes, was pretty tense, but after the me-mefest, I wanted to strap her to the bomb and leave.

Tali's mission most definitely by a long shot. Samara's in second.

Legions loyalty mission is moving? Eh?

Also, Zaeeds? Think people arnt quite understanding the meaning of 'moving'.

Tali, Thane, Mordin, and Miranda's were my favorites as far as emotions go. Grunt's was my favorite action-oriented mission. "These beasts will know we're worthy!" =)

Ohh I forgot Kasumi's. Probably because I only played it 2 days ago and didnt really consider it a loyalty mission like the rest.

Tali's and kasumi's joint first for me. Samara's in second.

Tali's and Thane's were the most emotionally compelling for me, Legion's was the most difficult moral dilemma in terms of choices you had to make.

I liked Zaieed's loyalty mission alot, the rage, the fury, the explosions. Seeing the fury and hate that would cause a man to forsake the lives of dozens of innocents in order to destroy a man who was largely just a greedy ****.

Tali's was definitely emotionally engaging, despite that episode of narm with the recorded message on the disabled ship. Definitely a high point for the game, especially considering how ****ty the choice was at the end of the mission about whether or not to ruin her father's name. Miranda's was also nice, as she was a character who grew on me over the course of my experience with the game. I would call Garrus's 'emotionally engaging' as well, you can feel his rage at being betrayed throughout that whole episode.

Jack's and Samara's did absolutely nothing for me. I seriously don't understand people who can relate to those characters.
