Well Ashley and Thane are the most logical ones left seeing as Thane is dying anyway and Ashley can unexpectedly kill any non-human survivor (if we are playing as a game not as a popularity contest then the death of the other characters should be considered too).

Mordin will be victorious. When it's just him and shepard, if they are rescued how will shepard know how to best romance their alien saviors if not for mordin!?

Logically Liara or Ashley and/or Kasumi needs to be the last standing survivor. Shephard has no need for a male companion. It will get boring and quick. Ashley is probably the number one candidate (although I personally prefer Liara). She has all the combat skills Shep needs in a soldier and the beauty (procreation) if it comes to needing that. Arguably Kasumi might be able to provide the same. Liara can definitely provide this as she can kick anyone's can with her Biotics.

btw I chose Ashley so that I wouldn't sound overly biased toward (you know who  *checks avatar*)

Nope Ashley is ugly as hell. So Mordin or Kasumi should be the last because Mordin is the best and Kasumi is the hottest of the charactres left in my opinion.

Hehe, this is funny. like I said, I think Mordin will be left anyway due to the underlying (funny) warish tones of this Survivor. People just can't vote on any other pretense other than they're misplaced pride and hatred toward other peoples choices.

With some bemusement: Would it be worth it to cut Kasumi's dialogue in half just for a dialogue wheel?

Because Ashley is a soldier with survival training.  She's tough and can survive the elements.  She'll eat bugs and drink urine.
Kasumi can turn on her cloaking device until somebody else gathers food.  She is too urbane for manual labor and hardy living.

in all seriousness, of all the characters, Ashley really probably is the most likely to find a way to survive, simply because of sheer willpower and toughness.

Breakdown of actual value in survival situation:

1. Legion. A robot that requires no nourishment and is capable of preforming extremely difficult tasks without tire. Has onboard communication systems to send an SOS, does not need sleep when acting as guard, can fix almost anything you have with you. Killing him is the same as committing suicide...

2 & 3. Grunt & Wrex. Krogan have reserves of food in their humps, allowing them to go a while without nourishment. They are physically adapt, capable of surviving the most hospitable environments with ease. Their survival instincts may backfire later on when it comes down to them or you, so it all depends on how long you are stranded.

4. Tali. If there was anyone who could fix your ship and get you off that rock, [besides the super useful Legion] it is her. Hell, she could probably build you a new ship. Quarians are also extremely skilled at getting by with minimal supplies. And their food is uneatable.

5. Garrus, No particular skills to point out in a survival situation, but his food is the same as Tali's, uneatable. In a long term situation, you might have to pick one to survive.

6. Mordin. Scientist that could preform repairs and help keep your team alive. Most broad education with knowledge in a vast area of sciences, not just mechanics. High calorie intake requirement would burn through food fast, but the investment might pay off.

7 - 14. Kaiden, Jacob, Ashley, Miranda, Samara, Zheed, Kasumi, Liara. None have any relevant skills to survival. They are Red Shirts basically. [Most people will save their LI out of this group. This horribly screws results of polls.]

15. Thane. Guna be dead in a year anyway. Not much of an individual to waste supplies on.

16. Jack. Crazy **** who only cares about herself, would kill everyone around her to survive without giving it a second thought. just get rid of her as soon as possible. Dont even bring her on your ship if you are smart.
