Okay, done ranting. I know little of the environment in which our heroes reside as well as any specific circumstances, so based on this information (or lack thereof), I voted for Legion. It was a toss up between Legion and Kasumi, as Kasumi's skills are least useful in this situation. However, no offense to Legion, but I hold organic life above that of machinery (yes, yes, human racist) and see the possibility to reassemble Legion in the future whereas the same could not be said of Kasumi. (I still don't think Legion should even be considered a part of the vote, as he does not consume food and carries his own internal power supply, but I am trying to make up scenarios where I would have to shut him down). I did also consider the possibility of voting for Kaidan, as he may be consuming the most food and his biotic abilities are covered by other squad members. Ashley may also be consuming a larger amount of food than her comrades as she is a soldier, but given her background, she has more useful skills for this situation. I have no idea how much an Asari consumes, but I assume the relative same for humans (based on mass, etc).

Legion has an internal power supply which does not need recharging for a considerable amount of time. Geth use some type of synthetic muscle to move, not gears that can be cloged by sand. sand is non conductive and thus wont hamper internal circitry inside his chest cavity. the rest of his body is sealed, and sand would not be an issue. Original geth from 300 years ago were designed specificaly for hard labor in hostile conditions. after 300 years, they have gotten more advanced, not weaker...Skilled Seeker wrote...
Actually Legion needs power like everyone else and he goes on standby unless he is chosen for guard duty during night time in order to maintain energy. Getting him to do difficult tasks will just use up his energy reserves faster, not to mention the hostile desert sands can screw up his insides. If that happens he will malfunction. Therefore it is a good idea to turn him off completely and keep him inside the ship so he doesn't get damaged or lose any of his data due to his battery running out..Vaenier wrote...
Breakdown of actual value in survival situation:
1. Legion. A robot that requires no nourishment and is capable of preforming extremely difficult tasks without tire. Has onboard communication systems to send an SOS, does not need sleep when acting as guard, can fix almost anything you have with you. Killing him is the same as committing suicide...

Ashley eats less than biotics, and she uses her own strength to survive.

It makes sense. you get as much energy out as you put in. Asari biotics are much more powerful, thus requiring more energy to be put in.Barquiel wrote...
We don't know if Asari biotics eat less/more than humans.

Also, some seem to forget that Shepard is just Shepard, not everyone plays Shepard as a dude to keep a chick around. And...for sexual relief you don't always need someone. But these are just details no one bothers with because LI must survive "Oh no...I am all alone and didn't get laid since the destruction of the first Normandy...boo hoo hoo."

Samara should have gone on a killing spree since the first death because of her code.
Ehh, nope. Samara put her code under Sheps authority, with the whole "should you make me do anything dishonourable, I will be forced to kill you" caveat.
Which is a good reason for her to go next, thinking about it....

I still say Samara is the biggest resource hog left, right now. She got my vote.
