Actually, she is. All asari are female. Monogendered means "one gender," and that one gender is female.

Right, it doesn't have any meaning to them because they're ALL FEMALE. They never had to compare two genders. But they are still female.

Doesn't matter hugely to me.They appear female to me, but that doesn't make it so. Also, some people may be freaked out by a monogendered species. Maybe the interviews are tailered to that, I dunno.

The interviews were kind of retarded, because he said "mono means no gender," in reality it means one gender. The codex lists them as an all female race, and that's what we (the asari nerds (and when I say asari nerds I actually mean fans of all asari and not just one)) stick to.

If we're talking about gender identity it's different. But we're talking about the physical makeup of an asari. Which is female. Plus all their terminology is female; "huntresses," "matriarchs," "maidens," etc. Again, they're a female race.

You do in the ME1 love scene. And unless she has it taped to the side of her leg, there's nothing hanging to indicate she's male. Do y'all want me to go copy the in-game codex word for word? Who am I kidding, that'd be tl;dr-worthy. Nobody would look at it.
