Um I wasn't rallying anyone against Tali. True I don't like Tali but I wasn't telling people to vote for her. Also a lot of people voted for her not out of hate but because of the cost of her suit maintenance. As for the greusomeness of the death scene, the ones in future can be just as bad depending on who dies

And for the statement of suit maintenance; no. All the comments are still there, calculate the ratio of posts between "suit maintenance" and general "Yes! Die Tali!"

It was never the character in question, the whole thing was a ploy against the fandom in general.

Hey thats a private group not a public forum. I am allowed to express my opinion there if I wish just like everyone else is allowed to. Anyway you are taking this way too seriously. its just a bit of role play fun.

It's a public forum, and the group was not even private. But regardless, you were rallying people. And sure voicing your opinion is okay, but your opinion has been very redundant.

Also it just shows what sort of people talimancers are. With their numbers they could easily defeat all non-Tali characters one by one. Instead they failed to save her on the 3rd day already. Autistic is it called.

I completely agree and I have even romanced Tali in one playthrough.  I like the character and I hope to see her in ME3, I just feel satisfaction, with a sense of justice.

@ Azint :  So what if it is about hate?  Hate is a valid emotion.  better to let it out than bottle it up like Jacob.  Have you even heard of the television of the same namesake?  I refuse to watch any show like it... so much so that I missed out on the first four seasons of Lost because I thought it was yet another Spin-off.

And I still believe you should get your equilibrium checked because there was plenty of whining about Tali's fate from Talimancers.  As for the Tali rage?  I have no idea what drives people to such ends.  Maybe its from bottling it up hate.

So, SS has an opinion... *gasp* lets call a news conference and demand a congressional hearing to investigate this travesty.  What he may, or may not, have done elsewhere is irrelevant.  What is happening now is you, Azint, are voicing your opinion in a thread SS started that {according to you} is all about hate.  

As a fellow blok I welcome you to voice you opinion, but I do feel it is a little hypocritical of you to condemn him for doing something you appear to be doing.  Naturally, those who identify themselves as Talimancers are free to voice their opinion in whatever way BioWare allows, just like everyone else.  However, everyone else is also free for form an opinion of said Talimancers based upon said interaction.

I'm not raging as a Tali fan, I'm being cynical. I was not making the point that Tali should not have died, rather than this whole thing is treading on rough water because very likely fans are rallying each other to kill of characters to save their own.

I'm being cautious about this whole thing, when you set up a competetion, people will get riled up. But according to the Tali thread, most of the fans are just relieved they no longer have to hear any more of it. I figured this would be a good time as any to say this could end badly. I would be a ******-poor anthropolgist if I never note the fickle nature of a video game forum.

Here is my problem with this operation; it's a hate poll, it has been a hate poll right from the start. Disguised as a game, people vote to kill off characters, the scenario is that you kill off characters based on survivability on a desert island, but no one takes that into consideration seeing as how naerly every comment has been about killing characters people dislike.The indicators are Jacob being the first to go and people thought he was dull, Morinth next because people agree she is a b!tch. The most obvious indicator being the most recent one where a majority of the posts have been about killing Tali and people commenting on how the fans will weep when she does get voted off. There was little weeping to be done.

Now I would have dropped this theory if it were not for the subject of the aftermath being about fan rage. Now seeing the comments again, it's about the "Talimancers" ruining polls and now they are trying to avenge her by doing further rage voting. Haters seem much more obsessed about taking down the fans than the fans are about liking their favorite character. The OP does not help matters since he has been rallying people to vote against Tali and he does have a history about trolling the Tali fans. Also I doubt any character will be killed off just as brutally in any subsequent polls, at least not without the OP acknowledging this observation.

Then they get accused of ruining things just for being there, so now a group is not allowed to voice their opinion because they are the largest? A majority still counts for something, whether it's a love or hate group. It's like you invite people to play a game of dodgeball and you take every oppurtunity you can to hit a specific person.

Who cares about your theory. I just want to eat in order to survive.
