 Who the hell is Aleena?
I like to consider myself in with the whole plot and its subplots but now everyone is talking about how Aria is Aleena
and I don't even know who Aleena is!!!! So when did the story actually mention her?

When you spoke with Wrex in ME1 about his story ... He begins to speak to you

and tell you about an encounter he had with Saren when he work as mercenary and gained credits

and in some time when he take a mission for a weathly employer to kill an assassin

This assassin turns to be his old mercenary friend the assari commando Aleena  

Guys its quite a story  

A romantic Renegade story

I have played through ME1 a few times, and I remember talking to Wrex about his encounter with Saren, but never has he talked about Aleena. Maybe I'm picking the wrong responses to get him to talk about it?
Perhaps I will never know...

Exactly mate this is a branch question tree about his mercenary life story
if you ask it properly Wrex mention you this story

Conrad Verners' wife is the shadow broker. Sometimes she just has to send her "best" man to get the job done right and gather information.

Aira is Aleena, there's no doubt in my mind about that. The Illusive Man is not as of right now the Shadow Broker. There is even more evidence to disprove that he is the Shadow Broker when Liara retrieved Shepards body from them who were then planning to hand it over to the collectors. Liara gives the only person they ever loved (if you went down that road) to Cerberus and to TIM in hopes they had a way to bring him back to life.

So no, TIM is not the Shadow Broker. What I do believe is that the Shadow Broker is a collective AI, similar to Legion.

We can also consider that BioWare may change a full 360 to fill in another plot hole and just, all of sudden say that TIM is in fact the Shadow Broker. The only thing Im going by this is, is the fact that he has those glowing blue eyes which hint that if anything he is far less human then anyone could have imagined.

That is pretty interesting theory though, I thought the Shadow Broker disliked Shepard a great deal and even wanted to retrieve Shepards body and hand it over to the Collectors. If in fact the Protheans Scientist are the Shadow Broker they must finally have gone under Reaper Indoctination. I would think they would fully support Shepard if they were the Prothean Scientist. So far all information about this is highly unlikely.

That would be really cool. In Mass Effect 2 I do believe you never hear Hackett in the entire game, if you do then it was only once or twice and I forget if he did. The only way I do believe he does contact you is by email. Going by this then, threw the events of ME2 you are able to, well sort of able to talk with TIM one on one, person to perso... hologram. Again In ME2, I'll say "harder to reach" or "talk to" Hackett because you're only able to talk by email let alone hearing his voice.

I still think that the shadow broker is the asari consort on the citadel. 

That makes a creepy kinda sense. She is reported to packing up work on the citadel due to bad press and numerous securty leaks. Plus she is in the best place to keep an eye on the enemy, The Council.
